How would the "don't-you-dare-disagree-with-the-manager" brigade feel about a Martial for Perisic exchange?
I am in the "trust-the-manager-brigade", and would absolutely hate to see Martial going. Don't think it's a realistic option anyway.

Yeah I don't think it's a realistic option either, but the cognitive dissonance a number of posters on here would experience would be something.

Screw FCIM.

If it was only a loan for Martial plus 35-40 mil for Perisic, I might have to consider it. Martial needs PT and I'm not sure he'll get enough of it if Perisic comes on board.
We need Martial next season even from the bench. I'm not a fan of a loan move now.

At this point, Inter are abusing United.
I will lose all faith in Mourinho and Woodward if this becomes a reality.

I could understand Martial being part of a deal to sign Mbappe or Dembele but Perisic? No thanks!

Martial was shit last season but he has the potential to be an elite player, something Perisic could only dream of being.

As someone who has been extremely disappointed in Martial and think he's more likely to do a Januzaj than anything else, we'd be moronic to get rid of him in favor of Perisic. I want Perisic for a consistent winger that will challenge Martial on the left but there's only a handful of players I'd actually sell for Martial's potential for (namely Sanchez).

Didn't you see what happened at the end of the last season with all these players injured ? we need every quality player available even from the bench, and Martial should be above Lingard in order on the left side.

I can cry now. I remember his first match for Gala, and it was magical. The ending was very very ugly due to an brainless president.

Sampdoria was interested in him. He will probably go to LA though. It's a shame because he can still absolutely play at the highest level.

That's insane, he's 23 and not got a chance in hell of playing for Chelsea any time soon.

Why would they give him a new contract to loan him out again?

Madness.
Because they seem to be making money off of these loans and eventual sales. How it all works, I am not sure. It is why FIFA/UEFA/FA need to come up with some ways of limiting loans to prevent teams from stockpiling players.

I think Martial showed he has a heck of a lot more to offer than Januzaj just in that first game v Liverpool.

Not if Mourinho is picking the team
