They're in the Championship, their European Cup victory has very little relevance it was 35 years ago. Villa fans have had it rough for a good while now.

Spurs should remain adamant, not the right player to give more freedom to pogba at the moment.
Then hand in a transfer request if thats the case. If I was desparate to join then Id be doing everything possible to force the club in to selling me.
I think handing in a transfer request is the very last resort. If the club agree to sell then you forgo any money due. If the club don't agree to sell then your entire fan base now hates you for being a 'mercenary', etc, and you're stuck there. It's a risk.
