Offhand, its' fascinating how every so-called top manager in the league apart from Mourinho and Conte is unable to set up a defense. Truly a difficult art to master, perhaps.
Mourinho's record at Anfield speaks for itself. He knows how to get a result in a game like that.

Arsenal are fairly putrid, aren't they?
This could be a hellish season for those fans. Nothing has changed whatsoever, not a single thing. Still porous at the back, still lacking in fighting spirit and leadership, manager making the same mistakes yet again.

It is, and he's stubborn as shit.

Because he's rich you can't feel sorry for him?
It's sport, not war or it's not as if he's lost in business. No, I don't feel sorry for him but if you want to feel sorry for a millionaire who's losing at sport go ahead

Liverpool weakness is set-pieces and they don't do well at them. Wenger answer is don't play Giroud who is a monster at attacking set-pieces.

Commentator said Liverpool have 5 clean sheets in their past 6 games. Is that true? Quite a record.

I never could understand and never will why united never were serious for a player like mane.

Liverpool has bad defence, weak on crosses. So what arsene did? He left giroud on the bench. Instead he play welbeck. Arsenal fans must be fuming today.

Annoying we're not playing Arsenal so early on before they bring in likely reinforcements like VVD and Draxler.

Mane was just immense that half. I think Can and Wijnaldum were also very good. Karius was done a favor by not having to do anything, that took some of the pressure off.

Ozil disgusts me. Henderson and Can are always getting stuck in and trying to make some kind of impact while this guy looks like he's in a training session. They should sell him off and free up payroll to get someone else.

Meanwhile Wenger is selling his CB's. Obviously thinks defending is old hat.

Not saying they're the best in the league, but I wouldn't trade the pairing of Mane/Salah for any other winger/wide attacker pairing in the league  Just really love watching them both play in full flow.
They are a great pair of wide players, no two ways about it. I think your spine is a bit too weak to challenge for the most prestigious honours, though, but no doubt that these guys will win you a lot of points with their pace, skill and trickery.

Exactly!

Beggar's belief that Arsene made that decision. Why??? I'm glad I don't have to watch them every week, I'd be on AFTV as well!

They need to bring Lacazette and Giroud on. Play more direct against this Liverpool side. They'll have a chance if they can get the ball up to giroud for some hold up play. Liverpool are pressing them and not allowing them to play out of the back. I'm starting to believe that wenger doesn't believe in tactics and preparing his team against an opponent.

NBCSN just showed Ramsey and Oxlade-Chamberlain not watching the game at all while Liverpool casually scored their opener. Ramsey got slagged off, but as usual "the Ox" escaped.

Hasn't he won 2 FA Cups though?
Yeah, I suppose....
At this point it's the players first, some of the Arsenal players are not even watching the ball... Wenger is definitely not the biggest problem when you have players like that.
All comes back to Wenger. If he cant motivate his players or make the right selections, it's his problem. He's so naive to play so open against Liverpool and think it would work. The midfield are non existent and his full backs are more interested in pretty one touch passing that actually defending

He set up with oxtail and sanchez, neither of whom want to be there. Plus welbeck, who's basically half a player at best.

Meanwhile record signing 40 goals last year sits on the bench, as does giroud, who would at least run through a wall for the team.

Players are shite, but this is wengers doing. 6 million a year for this? I could send them out unprepared for half that.

Something's definitely changed. They look more like finishing below Everton rather than making Top 4 as usual.

Almost LvG like, try to look smart and play people out of their natural positions.
At least LVG never had his arse handed to him as much as Wenger when playing Pool..

Agreed. It's been the case for far too long now. We play some good stuff, but the team just lacks that spine that all great sides have. You guys probably have the best in the league :D

True. It seems like they don't give a feck about him anymore.

On the half time show here in the US they showed how Ox and someone else , for the first goal, had walked to the sidelines and talking to someone with their backs completely to the play and no where near it - by the time the ball was turned over, they were completely out of position. Pathetic.

Right now Arsenal is 16th in the table... I know its only 3 games but still... if they carry on this way they might not be in the top ten

Fantastic game from us so far. Can has looked great and Mane is just incredible. One of the best wingers in the world imo.

Surprised how dominant we've been.

Expect Lacazette to come on soon, but the Arsenal players looked lost in this half. If we were better finishers we would slaughter them.
