RVP will make any kit look good. He looked especially sharp in the white kit that season.I thought it was bad when it was released but it honestly didn't look too bad when the players were wearing it.
The 1992-94 "Newton Heath" third shirt? Most regard that as a classic. The one that popped in my mind first was the lemon and lime one, from the 90s I think?
Nearly as bad as Liverpools horrible green and white one.
Along with the black one from around the same time, my favourite Utd top.The 1992-94 "Newton Heath" third shirt? Most regard that as a classic.
I genuinely have no memory of United wearing this kit in any match! Was it a Coca Cola cup game or something?Post your least fav United kits.
Was between this and the current grey one for me, decided for this.
I had these during the 90s. Jesus I loved them. I was decent too until I discovered guitar and fast women. Can you imagine us releasing kits like this now?
And I used to love those last 2.
I had every single one of those growing up. The iconic green/blue one with triangles was my first, and i have a signed one framed on my wall! Can you imagine us releasing kits like this now?
And I used to love those last 2.
Absolutely completely fecking bad ass. 90s Umbro kits. Great times.I was having a look through the different versions there to check the years if the ones I didn't like.
Has there ever been a Home/Away combo as good as the 1994-96 set?
I'd put that blue kit up there with the 94/96 black one. Pity the team didn't win anything significant in that blue kit. But the win away at Arsenal in the 2009 CL semi was a great match with the blue kit.
Even this one?
GTFO. That's a great kit.
Agreed. Love that one.GTFO. That's a great kit.
For sure. The bees knees, these were.I'd say these ones run it pretty close.
I think that shot's from the Arsenal-United game when Barthez managed to nutmeg himself.I genuinely have no memory of United wearing this kit in any match! Was it a Coca Cola cup game or something?
Yep. Didn't he pass the ball straight to Henry to score a tap in basically, then proceeded to wedge his shorts up his posterior. He was in terrible form that season.I think that shot's from the Arsenal-United game when Barthez managed to nutmeg himself.
The 3rd one is a classic, I still wear it to matches!I can't decide which is the worst one between these three:
That'll be the one, in my minds eye I can see Gary Pallister in it of all people. Was just God awful seeing it in the flesh, but it was the 90s and everyone was wandering around in neon pinks, greens, yellows and that funny purple colour you only saw on Campri jackets. The 1992-94 "Newton Heath" third shirt? Most regard that as a classic.
They 96-98 jerseys were pretty naff, this monstrosity is a hidden..... er monstrosity.
I actually really liked this kit and always hopes for it every time a new away kit is announcedPost your least fav United kits.

Gets my vote for worst fit.Post your least fav United kits.

It’s a real miserable looking outfit. This current grey is absolutely hideous.
I'm thinking the same as I'm watching it nowThis current grey is absolutely hideous.
We actually had some decent kits under Nike, didn't we? This one is great.
Even this one?
This was my first United Shirt.Post your least fav United kits.

They wore it for three seasons (including continental matches) didn't they?I hated this one: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_kht6EFthBI/U8fZR3SRYiI/AAAAAAAABbk/fbsGSnCpk3o/s1600/Man Utd-1999-ucl.jpg
Not just because releasing an alternative red strip just for CL games was a rip-off; but they also made the neck hole way too small in relation to the shirt size so it was a nightmare trying to get the bloody thing on.
Didn't do too badly in it though...
I adored almost every aspect of that kit, especially that silver shield around the crest. Plus we wore it for three European campaigns so it had longer legs than almost every modern design in memory.I hated this one: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_kht6EFthBI/U8fZR3SRYiI/AAAAAAAABbk/fbsGSnCpk3o/s1600/Man Utd-1999-ucl.jpg
