This season has been great so far.
They set it up a couple of episodes ago, this is pretty obviously what Tyrell meant when he said had a plan (to get around Elliot's shipping changes).Woah, did not see that ending coming.
4-5 seasons overall, so next or one after. Will this be the final season?
Yeah a pretty grim ending.Pretty disturbing last episode. Not really pulling any punches.
Got lulled into a false sense of security by some of the comedic scenes in this episode
Ratings are very low for this season but I think USA will defo give Sam one season at least to finish this off. I would be surprised if they gave him 2 (which is what he wants). Will this be the final season?
It has a voracious audience and critical acclaim though. So between the merch/box set sales and the award nominations they might decide it's good for the network to have.Ratings are very low for this season but I think USA will defo give Sam one season at least to finish this off. Almost every half decent to good show out there gets a very loyal audience who wants the show to go on as much as possible. It's critical acclaim somewhat dried up during s2 which had mixed reviews and could not garner any meaningful nominations (including an emmy snub for Rami Malek when previous winner almost always get nominated when eligible for the same role). I love this show (though I do think the plot of the show is starting to collapse a bit) and it would be great if it does get the full 5 seasons, but it is not a guarantee for sure. Infact I won't even rule out USA giving a much shortened season order to wrap up the show and not agitate the fan with a non-conclusive ending. It has a voracious audience and critical acclaim though. I just looked at the ratings, and feck me they really are awful, I thought they'd be 4-5 higher at least. Yeah, this could easily get shitcanned.Almost every half decent to good show out there gets a very loyal audience who wants the show to go on as much as possible. Yeap. Current era is actually very good for tv shows. Even just a decade ago, series would just get cancelled without any chance for the creators to wrap it up in any way. I think Jericho was one of the first tv series I saw getting resurrected for a conclusion due to fan campaign. But now days it is common for networks/studios to give critically liked series at least some episodes for a conclusion if they cancel it early. Sense8 for example is getting a movie after getting cancelled on a cliffhanger.I just looked at the ratings, and feck me they really are awful, I thought they'd be 4-5 higher at least. I think the plot is starting to swallow itself a bit now, it is largely due to the indulgent and over ambitious second season. They trimmed up a few loose ends this season but a lot of contrivances still remain. Even with that it is an incredibly well made show and on an episodic level, the suspense and the tension is super engaging. Much rather watch this than yet another superhero tv show.Still enjoy the show, some of the cinematography, soundtrack and aesthetic are great but the story is kind of silly now. I don’t really find it compelling like other posters seem too.
I don’t think the overtly left wing political themes in this series help the ratings either, especially in America. To say they are overt might be an understatement, they are more rammed down your throat.I think the plot is starting to swallow itself a bit now, it is largely due to the indulgent and over ambitious second season. The perils of appealing to a technologically literate crowd. They don't like ad breaks. How on Earth this show has only 0.5m viewers for episode is a mystery to me.
I doubt that's why, the US is full of ad breaks. The perils of appealing to a technologically literate crowd. They don't like ad breaks.
Its a travesty. Easily one of the best things on TV.Whiterose is terrifying. She makes Evil Corp CEO look like a cute puppy in comparison.

She does not. I don't remember exactly when but she came across the name at some point during S2.Can anyone remind me how does the FBI agent know about Whiterose? I remember that she met Minister Zhang in the second season, but she doesn't know that he and Whiterose are the same person.
