I suppose Liverpool fans can still talk about ‘what Rafa would have done if he had money’

Just noticed the pretty colours above the score card.

Kante again stops a good attack by fouling and doesn't get booked. I swear this guynis immune to yellow cards.
He's that certain type of player that referees seem to accept as part of the game. They'll let them get away with professional fouls more regularly than others because they know they'd be picking up 10+ yellow cards and 4 or 5 red cards a season otherwise. You can guarantee that if a winger or attacking midfielder does the same foul it's a yellow straight away because it's less likely they'll be caught in the same situation again.

I think it's just one of those things, the FA would rather those sorts of players get away with a few fouls here and there than have lots of games "ruined" by cheap red cards and players banned for accumulating yellows.

Newcastle players mightn't bother even wearing shirt numbers. Can't make out a single bloody one with a wide shot. Keeper aside, of course.

I've noticed that Kante will always run away from the ref as opposed to confronting him. That surely has an effect on how referee's treat him in every game. He does foul an awful lot.

missing out on hazard was one of our biggest failures in "recent" times. should have paid the agent premium

I'm not sure how Celta compare to Newcastle but their composure on the ball in the face of Barcelona's pressing is so impressive.
Even the bottom table La Liga teams generally try to play football than most of the EPL teams. Even we do the backpassing nonesense and we're 2nd

It is easier to play the football you are talking about in a league where you're not constantly pressed and the game is played at a very high intensity. The PL is the most viewer friendly due to this, but a lot of the finesse is sacrificed for intensity.

What's happened to Mané?
He’s being rotated like the rest. Salah and Coutinho were benched against Stoke.

Klopp has said that he’ll be doing a lot of rotation in December due to the number of games.

D.Silva for me, been at City longer and done more for them I feel. We just seemed to sit back and let the other teams stack up the world class players, biting us in the arse till today
