They probably were already going super early today...you wouldnt have a supporter coach going the day before as the expense would ramp up
Yeah the coach was leaving way earlier than usual, we'd have been at the ground around five hours before kick off. Was so hoping we would make it but apparently the coach couldn't get out the yard.

Me too. In fact, where has all this talk of postponement come from? Can anyone recall when an Old Trafford match was last postponed due to weather? I think we're going back donkey's years!

On the match itself, Mourinho has to find the right balance between offering a genuine attacking threat and nullifying City's outstanding forward players, which is considerably more difficult without Pogba. I think both he, and the team, will relish the opportunity to halt City's run of wins though.
Agree completely with this. These game are very unpredictable but the team is up for it for sure.

6 inches in Birmingham and still falling fast. Looks like the supporters club I travel with is still going as i've not had a message off them yet. It takes me 30 minutes to get to the pick up point. I might just bottle it :(

I wouldn’t blame you, it’s bad in the West Midlands, I’m surprised it’s still going ahead. I don’t think I’ve seen this much snow before!

Nah this is England. A few snowflakes and the country comes to a halt
There's no snow here, but I am 100 miles north of Manchester, had a bit yesterday, but it just turned to sleet. We don't get that much snow here to be fair. If we got it every year and it was bad snow we probably would be more prepared.

I’ve got 29 inches here. Don’t tell the club that though.

Just got off the phone to a work mate who lives in Leamington. He was rubbing it in this morning when he found out my coach was cancelled. He'd just walked through heavy snow to get to his coach stop and then, soon after he arrived, he got the text message: his coach is cancelled too! Shouldn't smile, but in this instance revenge is sweet.

you'd have thought by now in the 21st century Sky would have come up with a way to overcome bad weather as an excuse for losing signal. looks as if I'm going to miss the game and i am bloody furious although not sure i was going to enjoy the result... no signal, Mr Murdoch: piss poor. it snows in England, you know! an why is it that I can get some poxy channels and not others? and branson is to blame too: doesn't cable here. stops about 20 miles down the road

Selfishly, I hope it gets called off now, for our sakes and Pogba’s. If it’s on attendence will be low. We’re not used to playing in a half empty stadium so this plays into their hands :(

It's not necessarily the snow that's the issue. It's the ice around the ground and after the game. The club has to consider the fans safety.

When Chelsea called the game off it wasn't due to the amount of snow, it was the ice.
I know that ,that why I still have a nagging doubt the game will be off.
Some fans coaches have already been cancelled , M6 in the midlands is down to a single lane !

Well I’ve got no electricity so if it goes ahead doesn’t look like I’ll be able to watch so I’m rather conflicted.

People wanting it off for Pogba to be back should think how by the time it gets rescheduled City might be in much much better form than they are in at this very moment.

My line up prediction had Herrera for Pogba but now i think Mourinho will play Fellaini because they are really bad at defending crosses and corners.

Not sure if anyone else feel similar ... tomorrow feels like the biggest game we’ve had since SAF left; even perhaps since our last CL final.

It’s much more than 3 points, we can’t expect other clubs to do our bidding if we can’t beat them ourselves. If Mourinho can figure out how to do that, it will provide that template for others to make 2nd half of season so much more difficult.

LikeWise a City win would give them such a psychological advantage, let alone a virtually insurmountable 11 point gap.

Can’t think of a better manager than Mourinho for a game of Such high stakes.

Same. Plus Jose has to do it, without Pogba. Another big challenge.

I have faith in Jose. Cautiously optimistic.

If we lose, it’s pretty much over.

    So comeon United !!

Doesn't matter what it's like now. Game doesn't kick off until 4.30.
The MET office are pretty decent at weather predictions these days.

If you look at the forecast there is very little snow predicted for Manchester now.

Granted, the Old Bill have to take into account the supporters getting to, and from, the ground in a safe way but they wont be taking into account coaches coming from greater distances at this late hour. What is now done, is done.

The game will 100% go ahead and we will raise the roof, even if there are a few supporters coaches that cannot make it. Feel for them but this is a game of football in Manchester, not Birmingham.

Eric, I like the cut of your jib. Have you ever seriously thought about commenting on a football forum?

United have just sent a text saying arrive early. Certainly no indication from them that they may call it off.

I bet they’ll be big pressure from sky not to postpone today

No way this is getting called off. No snow forecast for Manchester today, just cold. Im in Stockport and theres no snow here either, its all south of here. If anybody can't make it, why not arrange to sell your ticket to fellow caftards who are local?
