You are far too harsh on him. We play against Özil, Sanchez, Lacazette ffs.

Giving the benefit of the doubt, looks rusty.

Shocking. He should stop these stupid tackles. Someone really needs to tell him that right ? Can't believe Jose didn't notice them.

What is his true level, the Rojo who had a good 5 months last year or the impulsive, erratic Rojo from the majority of his time here? I really hope it is the former.

Will give it a couple more games before I decide he's shite. He's certainly played better than this before, and barring the penalty, was actually decent against Watford.

Will give him the benefit of the doubt due to his extremely long layoff, but tonight was pure shite from him.

Brain fart after brain fart. Like they say after you come back from long term injury, the first 2-3 games, adrenalin takes you to your old level but after that your lack of match sharpness hits you. Pointless hoofing, uncomfortable with ball at feet, Making stupid tackles, probably his worst game under jose.

I thought he did well enough in covering ground and making blocks, perhaps his positioning in a 3 needs work though.

I wouldn't call it pure shit. They all switched off for Arsenal's goal. Benefit of the doubt is right though.

Was not too bad. Switched off for their goal. A bit gungho at times though.

This. I doubt he would have played if Bailly or Jones had been fit, let's just hope he'll slowly find his form from last season again.

Played well.. he's had a big injury FFS and been thrown in. He will need a rest as soon as the other two are back. He's still running off adrenaline. Don't expect a solid performance until Feb.

I honestly wouldn't start him against City, no matter what. Play Blind if Jones is not fit enough, I don't care since at this moment in time he's huge liability.

Solid performance from Rojo! Great positive progress after coming back from such a huge injury!

Wouldnt say solid, he looked shaky particularly in the first half then game, but I thought he got better as the game went on, made a couple of really good defensive plays.

And fecking hell the people on here! He's been out for like 6 months like Zlatan with an injury and has started games back to back from midweek away game to Arsenal away in a unfamilar back 3. People just expect him to be on top form immediately strangely as if hes a machine robot, granted he's a bit rusty but people immediately saying we should get better/sell him etc which I find utterly ridiculous have some of you forgotten last season?

He lacks sharpness. I thought he was terrible yesterday but I'm giving him a pass because of his injury.

He should rest vs CSKA and start again vs City if Bailly and Jones are still out.

His next appearance will see him draw level with Tevez as United's most capped Argentinian (99apps).

His ineffective, inaccurate long balls have started. Not one is reaching it's target, and possession is being lost every time.

Rojo at his best is a solid defender. But he has always been a long ball merchant, even during his purple patch. He simply cannot play a passing game, dunno why that is an epiphany now.

Passing has been all over the place no doubt but you can't just single out Rojo for it when they've all been at it.

Gotta say, mindless hoofing of the ball is worse than Smalling's awkward bambi-like passing.

Really curious what his passing percentage is like tonight? About 5%?
