I really dont think this will be over the line until weekend boys. Knowing us, I imagine it will be announced after a potentially shit result against Burnley.

He'll be with Jose in the presser.

"Oh yea everything was filed with the league yesterday, didn't we mention it?"

Drop mic, walk out.

Unfortunately I think you're spot on here.

Burnley will play as if on a 'roid rage' and get their epic 1-1 draw while we sit and wonder if Sanchez could have made the difference if only the damn transfer had gone through quicker.

We're going to announce Jose contract, DDG contract, and Sanchez signing all at the same press conference. All 3 of them wheeled out in tuxedos. It will break the internet.

THE POLL!!!!

I can't handle this :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I love the media narrative of this transfer to be honest. It feels like us vs the world again and I've missed that.

Plus, we have a manager who will be absolutely lapping it up.."

My sentiments exactly.

Loving this!

.

All good points. It's shocking really how the media is conveniently forgetting all of those above points.

However, had City offered to match our wage demands, do we think Sanchez would still have chosen us?
Erm...yes.

Look at the timelines, as soon as Sanchez knew we wanted him it was done. It’s his agent who played the numbers game not Sanchez. The difference in wages between what we offered and what City offered is negligible. He would of won more in the short term with a massive signing on bonus.

Don’t let the numbers fool you into thinking he’s another merc.

99% of football players want to play for United, the other 1% are liars.

The Utd fans getting offended by the media exaggerating the wages/money involved is getting more tiresome than the actual nonsense itself.

Who cares?
I find it almost as funny as the stories the gutter press are peddling. As you say who cares what other people think of us as long as we're winning.
It could be worse people could feel sorry for us like they do Arsenal.

I wonder if United's PR team are refreshing this thread as their fingers hover over the publish button waiting for 1159am.

I've been quite relaxed about this, it's obviously going to happen, but I'm baffled how on the surface it looks like nothing has happened in the last day. Surely this is the last time we see Mkhitaryan arrive for training.

Oh no, Mkhi's about to become public enemy #1 again

I think City are extending the contracts of their senior players so when they come in with a late bid of 600k plus B. Silva everyone will be happy.

No chance will Sanchez be registered by 12pm, I'm resigned to the fact this will drag on into next week.

Low expectations will keep me sane :wenger:

I bet this drags on til the end of the window. And then somehow fails. No wonder Wenger was so happy.

Shameless stuff Mkhi

you've known for the last 10 days the club doesn't want you here and he still cant agree a deal with Arsenal.

FYI Mkhi seeing you for the last 18 months you are very very lucky to be getting a move to Arsenal because of what ive seen of you in English football you dont even belong in the championship mate.

Yeovil will be a God send to there journalists.
I can see it now "Alexis earns more in a month than the club would in years"
There should be a contest to guess who brings it up first.
I say Ollie Holt.
