Left footed players are always one-footed and try their absolute best to never use their right foot at all costs, even if their right foot is actually decent.

Despite captaining his team in two Champions League finals, nobody actually knows anything about Gabi.

To be fair it's the same for right footed players too.

Given the level and the money available at the top of the game the number of truly two footed players that I can remember is abysmally low.

Watching Emerson, Ravanelli and Juninho play for Boro at the Cellnet stadium. Must have been a dream.

When watching a replay of an offside decision, commentators will always sit on the fence, even if it's really obvious what the call should've been.

*footage shows striker has both legs past the line "oooh it's tight"

This is usually because they have naively given their verdict before seeing it again.

Every time a club loses an important player due to a transfer, they lose the next match.

French/African player surnames always pop out at the same time. They come in bunches. Like, there was a time where everyone was a Sissoko. Then, it was Diarra's turn. Every league had one in an important team. This time its Bailly. United and Barça have one, they came to surface at the same time.. And these in fashion names never coexist. Like, is there a relevant Sissoko right now? I wonder the next name will be.

Who is the other Bailly?

Don't forget Dembélé! (edit: too late)

Derby County are always near the top of the Championship, yet never get promoted.

Dutch players who just have Van as a name are Strikers (Van Persie, Van Basten, Van Nistelrooy, Van Hooijdonk, Van Wolfwinkel) but if it’s Van der then they are not Strikers (Van der Sar, Van der Vaart, Van der Wiel)

West Brom and Chris Brunt are actually one and the same thing.

West Brom are still yet to win any game in the Premier League, against anyone, ever.

No one actually knows where West Brom is. It's just a stadium in the middle of nowhere somewhere in the middle bit of England.

West Brom don't have an away kit.

Every team in the PL seems to have at that one average midfield player who is 100% interchangeable with any other average midfield player at another club. Except for West Brom who seem to have an entire squad of this type of player.
I was watching football greatest today it was about Del Piero, and Marcello Lippi basically said the same thing about him and Juve

in your closet, in your head
The only time a player posts his own feelings or message on Twitter or Instagram themselves they get ridiculed (odd rare player actually posts anything personal).
Usually just a generic image from the likes of Getty with the same hashtag the rest of the team uses.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was English.

Dick Advocaat and Gus Hiddink are the same person.

At one point during the early 00's, Zola was a player-manager at Chelsea.
