He shouldn't be first choice at the moment. Guy hasn't scored since Boxing Day. Giroud deserves to play against Barcelona IMO.
But the stupid thing is he probably won’t. Giroud provides some good hold up play and linked up pretty well. Morata simply seems to slow everything down, lose possession and make wrong decisions. But because he is ‘the big signing’ Giroud will most likely miss out in the big game.

Adkins - “Great finish from whoever scored it”

Football knowledge at it’s best.

Bullet header from Vardy and Mahrez's cross was wonderful as well. Still a deadly duo when they are in form :D

Doubt chelsea will be able to put sustained pressure on barcelona. Morata is a monster on the counter. Giroud is...not.

First tie of the 6th round now confirmed Chelsea to host the winner of Brighton V Coventry. Unless Rochdale or Wed pull of a shock of course.

Expect Swansea, Brighton, Southampton and i think United to go through today, albeit you never know with them these days.

Not exactly the FAC but at the Olympics this gave me a laugh : Great result for LFC in the men's 1000m speed skating as S Girard takes gold and John Henry comes in for silver.

After our game it appears the programme on BT starts at 7.45 pm.
I don't agree with the draw being held before this round of fixtures is finished, since that draw might affect how teams approach the ties tomorrow and on Monday.

Let's say, for example, that Spurs are drawn away to City. It's not inconceivable that Pochettino might decide we only have small chance of coming through against that tie, and so decide to field an incredibly weakened team tomorrow against Rochdale.

Or, we might be drawn at home against Swansea/Sheffield W, and so decide to field a very strong team tomorrow.

I agree that the draw should be after all the games are played. There are going to be a stupid amount of either or games. City playing on Monday evening doesn't help matters. Just play all the games on the Saturday or all on the Sunday. This is what saturation TV coverage does for you.

I kind of find FA - cup weekends dull as far as watching football.

Shocking attendance at West Brom. Not as bad as the defending though

It is when there are no PL games. Fulham/Villa in the Championship looks good and is not TV. I would have loved to watch that at lunchtime and had to sit through Sheff Wed/Swansea which I found very boring.

That'd be pretty shocking. Spurs need to win something or at least try to and can't just go "oh, we're gonna be playing City so may as well forget about it".

That is the kind of thing a team in the relegation battle would do, whose next match is against a relegation rival.

It certainly wouldn't be "shocking". It would be a pragmatic decision based on pushing for top 4 and aiming to go beyond Juve in the CL.

Hope the Baggies get dumped! Evans and Barry shouldn't even be in the squad.
