If someone's out of the team for any reason Jose immediately discounts them and concentrates on the players that are available, and rightly so.

Sadists! Sadists Everywhere! Even the tweet from his personal twitter account is not enough. Y'all can't wait with the conspiracy theories.

Complete overreaction of a thread RAWK gets rightly criticised for deleting negative threads and it's but some of the sheer rubbish iv seen posted on here deserves the RAWK treatment

I don't think he'd have tweeted about getting well if it was anything other than illness. If he was unhappy, he would surely want to make that point via media speculation.

I hope he feels better physically and mentally for Wednesday and the rest of the season. We need him at his best.

He can be so much better, so he should hold himself to a higher standard. He must work harder and smarter for himself and the team!

All I know is that I am #TeamMourinho with this one.
I hope you say the same if he moves to Barcelona in the summer and does well there while we struggle to play good football with Mourinho. If Pogba goes that's one thing but Mourinho is addicted to drama and I hate it.

Doesn't look good this. There was something not right with him in the Newcastle game. His head just wasn't there. Before anyone knows what's behind it people will judge him and speculate. Let's just wait and see and hope it can be dealt with.

There's this old proverb. Heard it's from an African community: "The witch cried yesterday and the child died this morning. Who doesn't know that the cry of the witch had something to do with the child's death?"

A bit of a stretch because a million things could have killed the poor child but one get's the idea.

Let me go full blown conspiratorial here.

Sanchez comes in and then there are rumours that Pogba wants more pay. And then Jose moves players around a bit to accommodate Sanchez and then Pogba starts playing rubbish and then Jose, for the first time, substitutes Pogba for poor play - or tactical reasons as he calls it - (Jose never used to do so even when Pogba played terribly in the past) and then Pogba, for the first time has a touchline 'arguement' with Jose and then Jose leaves Pogba out of the starting line up - when Pogba is not injured and it is not an insignificant cup game and then rumours break out about Pogba not liking where Jose is playing him and then rumours break about Madrid planning a summer bid for Pogba and then Jose actually uses the word 'bullshit' at a press conference while discussing Pogba and then Pogba, whom Jose had said would play today, suddenly 'needs to get better' and doesn't show up for the game.

Hmnnn.....

This is especially for my fellow conspiracy theorists. We are the only ones gifted with the ability to sniff out stuff like this.

How can Jose not know whats going on? I find it weird that he has no clue or doesnt want to say whats happening.

Has the possibility of him being genuinely sick and unable to play today been considered at all? Rather than him suffering with mental instability or a longing desire to join the circus that is Real Madrid.

When you're sick you're sick.

This is all a wind up and Jose has the worst poker face in football. He's given him the day off so he can be fresh for Sevilla.

Surely nobody really believes that he was too sick to play. pulling stunts like this will make him very unpopular in the dressing room very fast. Who does he think he is?

I rang in sick last week. Making the call my manager wanted only to know when I'd be back.

When I rang him the following day to say I was OK again, it was then he asked me what had been wrong and if I was fully over it.

I don't think this is beyond the bounds of possibilty at all.

Right now, Sevilla will have no idea whether he plays until the team sheet is released.

If he's not on it, then maybe we'll need a better understanding as to why.

Everytime Mourinho says anything about a player, people on here think it's "cryptic" or that it "doesn't bode well" or that he's "adding fuel to the fire"

Reports emerge of player being ill.
Player tweets saying he is ill.
Mourinho states after the game that the player is ill.

"Oh Mourinho has only added fuel to the fire there"

What the hell were you expecting him to say that could possibly have added any less fuel to any fire? Do you want him to produce a video of Paul Pogba throwing up into a toilet to prove he's actually ill or something?

I think I’ve come to the conclusion that everyone on the internet is an idiot. It’s just something about being online that turns us all into numbnuts.
