One person's 'wumming' is another's valid criticism.

Take Pogba, for example, I said he'd prove to be an expensive flop, but was told "look at how great he was in Serie A" and "he's world class".

Fast forward and now many people see that's he's lazy, lacks positional awareness, thinks he's he much better than he actually is, has the occasional good game but far more where he's either terrible or just bone average.

No one can realistically deny that for £90m you'd expect a lot, lot more.
Paul Pogba? You mean our best midfielder this season? The guy that has more assists than Eriksen, despite playing ten or so less games? The Pogba that plays for the second best team in the league, the team that has been comfortably best of the rest since day 1? We have managed 13-4-2 with him on the pitch, snatching 2,26 points on average - scoring 41 goals (over 2 goals on average). The guy that's rated 9th on whoscored.com this season - on roughly the same average as Firmino, Sterling, Sane and David Silva? Please serve us your agendas in the future, it's hilarious for most people on here, but leave Pogba out of the picture - he's done fine this season. He's having a tough time lately for sure, be it injuries/illness, tactics, motivation or whatever, but he's still comfortably our best player. Who the hell cares about the transfer fee? He will be here for ten years and we could sell him for 150M tomorrow if we wanted to, he is a marketing marvel (although tedious as hell), he brings more attention to United with his little toe than the whole Tottenham-squad does combined. Pogba could win the Ballon d'Or in two years and belittling people like you would still say silly things like "yeah, you'd only expect that sort of thing due to his transfer fee". Of course I'd like to buy players for 0 bucks instead of 100M, but the market doesn't work like that, especially for the big players.

You can brag about the marvelous Lloris, the sublime Vertonghen, Alli, Dembele, Son and Kane - but how come the feck you are behind us in the table when players like Pogba (and insert names) are so underwhelming? We've scored one less goal than you and have a better goal difference, let's see how it looks when we play Swansea and you play Chelsea next.

It is a massive blow but as others have said we have managed without him before and I'm sure we will do this time as well - the likes of Son are incredibly important in these situations. Fingers crossed Kane is back in a couple of weeks and it's not too serious.
You have, but Son has been enjoying being under the radar for a long time. Now that Kane is out, defenders and managers will be focusing on the main threat Spurs pose. And Son is a very serious danger, noticeably now.

I can't see Llorente being given a substantial part so Son may be moving into the middle. Into the middle of parked buses that is. He might grasp the opportunity to be the main man with both hands, or as happens so often gets fewer chances to shine as he has been.

If you think that Pogba has been impressive for United then I can only leave you in peace with that opinion.

As for Eriksen, yes, 1 less assist than Pogba ... but 6 more goals. How many managers would want Pogba instead of Eriksen?

Kane may not miss much time and could get a much needed rest for the run in. Don't have a PL match for roughly 3 weeks. If he is only out a match or 2, it could be blessing. Will just have to wait and see how long the recovery is.

Looks great.

What does the season ticket price compare to years gone by?

The cheapest adult ticket I can see is £795 looking at that link.
All the prices are given in this interactive map: https://3ddigitalvenue.com/3dmap/clients/tottenham/ ... this also shows the away team's supporters areas.

In general prices have gone up a fair bit, but then I suppose that's to be expected given the money that the club has invested in the new stadium and its step-change in quality compared to the old one.

The cheapest will be £795. But the most expensive will cost £2,200, which I believe will be the highest price in the Prem.

Based on their performances this season? Very few most likely. Yet I'd still choose Pogba for the long-term as I believe he is the superior player, although I am a huge fan of Eriksen as well.

Jose will find Pogba's true role before long.

Is this with the onsite brewery beer being on tap? Any news on the prices? I think it will be important you're not pricing people out.
I don't know about prices, but the club says that the stadium will have the world’s first stadium micro-brewery, producing 1,000,000 pints of craft beer each year, with a delivery system delivering 10,000 pints per minute. The 65m metre bar will include self-serve beer pumps to help cut the queues.

Further to the onsite theme, there will also be an onsite bakery, producing, say the club, "artisan breads and pastries for every food outlet in the stadium, ranging from general admission areas to boxes."

Cheapest seats are 795 (400 for children) in one small section, then a large part of the ground is 900-1100. These are for the 19 league matches only.

Most expensive is 2200, for ‘1882’ which includes food and drink and domestic cup games. Seems like a cut-down hospitality option, which I suppose is no surprise given the premium hospitality packages have apparently been selling very well.

For some people it’s a huge increase over the old pricing - the old shelf side, for example, was a lot cheaper than the west stand, but now they are the same price. Other areas have increased a bit but more manageable.

General sentiment I’ve seen around the place varies from low-level grumbling acceptance, to irritation, to outright inability to afford a season ticket any more.

At the end of the day the club still has tens of thousands of people on the waiting list for a season ticket and has to strike a balance between staying affordability and leaving money on the table. I have no doubt they’ll sell out, but the key thing is that the team performance has to continue going in the right direction.

What happened to the humble pie . Sounds good though, I'll probably go and see what it's about.

I was actually just talking about the beer price :D, but good to know!

Really nice pics, but why are Spurs building an airport?
Lol ... but I'm not sure what you mean.

If you mean the large number of different types of bars, eating places and concourses etc, then it's for two reasons I guess:

1) Because the stadium complex is intended to be in use virtually every day of the year and not just on match-days.

2) Because the idea is that even on match-days fans will spend a lot more time before and after games enjoying the various facilities ... making it more of a whole day out.

Sounds nice and all, but God it is a bit depressing that this is what football has become.

2000+ for a season? Costliest season ticket in the league. At least now they will be first at something! Are Spurs fans happy with the new pricing?

Maybe fans who want Old Trafford expanded need to keep this in mind too. Surely the match going fans will bear the brunt, no matter how many bakeries or salons we open in the stadium.

@InLevyITrust what do you think of the massive ticket and season ticket price hike making spurs the most expensive ground to visit? If what I just heard is correct the prices are fecking mental and no spurs fans in their right minds would pay that to watch Barcelona play nevermind you lot??
Honestly I don't really care that much I'm in Nothern Ireland so only get over 3-4 times a season. From what I can see the cheapest tickets have only risen by £30 a season while the premium have risen by £300. I don't really know how that compares to other clubs.

Looks very expensive to me though to be fair I've never had one and unless something crazy like a lotto win occurs I'll never have one. I can usually get over for one game per season. I'm sure the regular season ticket people are not happy though.
I'm in the same boat as you.

Yeah it sucks doesn't it. Are you in a supporters club?
Nah I have a friend who is though and get me tickets easy enough, fan forums stress me enough without a physical forum lol. But yeah I would love to go over more, but the wife likes going to so we make a weekend of it and it ends up being a pricey weekend.

Such a failure of a season, for all the praise this team gets on this forum they get eliminated again in the R16 of CL, barely battling out for top 4, already out of 1 cup, if they don't win the FA cup then I will really have no words, for all the exciting football they supposedly play they did feck all again for another season, and it's not like you can rely on improving for the future either as it's more likely they will get worse with the department of Kane and maybe another important player, makes me feel good actually, you can all play it nice people and all that but when you see their opinions about Manchester United you realise it's not worth giving all that praise on an enemy team, specially if they don't actually deserve it.
It is always unwise to state stuff like this when the season is still ongoing - Man Utd are in exactly the same situation now except you have spent £300 odd million since Jose came in.

Disappointed with the pricing of the season tickets I have to say.

Sounds nice and all, but God it is a bit depressing that this is what football has become.
And I know what you mean. I am incredibly excited about the stadium and a lot of what it will offer. I appreciate as well why we've done some of the stuff we've done in it and why we have to play it up for hospitality tickets etc etc but some of it really does sound pretentious.

As Alanis Morissette would say. Isn't it ironic?

As I've said in the past I have a lot of respect for United but the gloating since last week has been something else. Bottle club this, bottle club that. At least we went out to one of the best sides in Europe. United totally bottled it at home tonight. You reap what you sow.
You waited until we lost a game to quote my (perfectly reasonable) post from a week ago?

You’re completely wrong - we didn’t bottle it last night. We were set up to concede possession and nick a goal. It was embarrassing and our players couldn’t make simple passes and to be frank although we’ve had worse performances, it was as demoralising as any I’ve ever seen from United - apparently we now don’t even attack at Old Trafford any more.

Tottenham are better than us and set out to play better football. Your team should have beaten Juventus, and to be honest you should be ahead of both us and Liverpool in the league, just as you should have beaten Leicester to the title two years ago.

To start changing that, imo your club NEEDS to win the FA cup this year, and with City out that’s your best chance. But would you really be all that confident if you got us in the final?

The league table tells an entirely different story however.

4 points is hardy a massive gap tbf.
At no point in the season have Spurs been ahead of United. Now that Kane is injured for a few weeks at least, that is looking unlikely come the end of the season as well. Spurs are really good when the pressure is off, hence why they start off poor then finish strong when they are out of every competition, but without Kane that'll make things tougher.

It didn't on Sataurday or any other time Kane is out, that's a bit of a myth TBH.

Would Kane be back in time for at least City game? Heard he is out until April but that's nothing specific given it's almost end of the season aka crucial time. It's not like in September where you have international break weeks apart

You can't be serious. Why do Spurs fans insist on underrating their players so much, they've actually convinced themselves that they are fine without Harry Kane, he's one of the best goalscorers in the world!

By the way, Kane missed the game at OT, and you lost. In that game, Son played as a striker and you offered virtually nothing going forward. So much for that 'myth'.
