OLE OLE OLE I LOVE YOU
He isn’t going to ‘stop trying’ but how is it not demotivating for the manager to publicly say they’re not good enough, how will that help them play to their maximum level and do something special?
Yes and demotivating his players at the same time
Do you think he is saying the same to his players or at least in the same tone? It's been reported multiple times that he is a totally different person in real from what he portrays himself in front of the media. I am sure that behind the scenes, he is making them ready to fight for everything possible. We have a good squad, but our squad has many holes as well. CB, LB, RB and RW positions are the obvious concerns in our squad. And for some reason, we are not able to recruit quality players for those positions. Now if you look at our current players in those positions, all those players are Jose's favorites. He has praised them multiple times for their passion, team spirit and work ethics. He has called Valencia the best RB, recently praised Bailly for his commitment, said that he is very happy with the kind of effort Shaw is putting in training. Also praised Young for coming back from early. So, do you think these players are going to be demotivated with a manager who shows faith in them?

As i said above, Jose is a different person when he is dealing with the press and when he is with his players. John Terry once said that Jose had told them not to pay attention on what he says in the media (or somewhere along the lines).

We never play out of the back. Always back to DDG for the boot to lose possession.

Look how deep pereira has to drop. Fecking defenders can't pass the ball

Darmian is playing incredibly high.
So that's his excuse.

Midfielders dropping very deep to get on the ball. I hope we can get them on it a little further up so we can play Rashford in behind, as I don't like the look of him playing back to goal.

Which is why there's weight to the argument that a ball playing defender will improve our attack. The whole team can play further up the field.

We look solid and sharp. Just need to improve going forward and playing out from the back.

Darmian is such a poor player, looks so out of place in a United shirt.

Fred looks a busy player, looking forward to seeing him develope.
