That makes no sense. I see the videos with my own two eyes.

You said he's not been happy since he has been back, I've just proved that to be utter tripe.

I'll lock the cupboard door if you're not careful!
It makes perfect sense, actually, but you don’t want to see it. You may have seen the videos but with tinted glasses so take them off and take a look around and see what is happening in the real world. You have proved nothing.

You may not believe it ( or even be aware of it ) but the media all across the world is telling about how his agent is sending feelers to other clubs. And why such cryptic interview? Why he fears punishment? I have never heard of a happy player who talks this way.

This is not about the player’s quality or his equation with his manager. I’m just saying that at present he doesn’t seem like enjoying his time here. You may not like it because you are a fan of his or the idea of him leaving our club doesn’t go down well with you but no need to be rude. It is a fact that not every player - however great - is a fit for every club.

Jose and the club need to go on a charm offensive now. Don't do or say anything silly, because it will just be exploited and used as a stick to beat them with. There's another 2 weeks before the window closes, so lets keep him as captain and blowing smoke up his ass at every opportunity. Losing him at the start of the season, with no quality/creative midfielders waiting in the wings would be a disaster. Not only that, it would discourage other big names from joining us in the future. If next summer they want to cash in on a 180 million deal for Pogba, with Milinkovic Savic and 2 other big names coming in, then that is fine by me. But definitely not now.

Funny, but this episode has a bit of the Yaya Toure cake drama about it.

I think he just have after holidays depression, I have it every Monday after the weekend and want to quit.
LOL. Yep.
He won the WC - a huge high.
Then he went on holiday - great!
Then he has to come back to work and play matches, with minimal training. He got the blues.

He wants... and willl receive... a new deal that puts him closer to the likes of Messi, Ronald, Neymar.
I think that that's basically it.
IIRC Sergio Ramos, Captain of R.Madrid, did the same thing. He stated he wants to leave and that MUFC would be a possible destination. A few weeks passed. A new deal was signed and he did a complete 180, stating how he loved the club and never wanted to play for any other club.

Just like Mourinho did with us right, talked up how he is wanted by PSG and then bam wanted to create a dynasty at United.

"Mourinho has stuck for Pogba before" is such a faulty argument. Those bringing it up are failing to understanf that supporting your players as a manager doesn't mean meeting a certain amount of backing then be free to publicly slag them off later.

Standing by your own players is a perpetual duty that's expected of a manager, there is no expiry date on that. Just because Mourinho has stood for Pogba before which should be the least expected from a manager(not some overwhelming feat that has to be endlessly boosted about over and over) doesn't mean he should have gone to slag him off later.

Truth be told, Mourinho went the wrong way about handling his players. The public slagging were always a bad idea, and some did see this coming because it was setting a bad precedent. Consequently due to Mourinho earlier actions, even the board as well as the players are feeling compelled to go to the media to have their points come across instead of sorting out everything behind closed doors.

Because manager is the boss. When manager is not a boss then you have anarchy.
I bet you have no problem when the manager(Mourinho) pressurises his bosses(the board) and eventually throw them under the bus publicly via the media.

Beside managers as well as players have the right to speak to the media, that's why they all get these interviews and post match presses, interviews. Now what's said is up to them.

Normally no one would want to air their dirty laundries in public, be it manager or players. However when you have a manager that instill that culture of instinctively airing everything in public, then it rubs off everyone. From then on public airing becomes fair game for everyone.

That's all that matters really.
Yes, if he keeps playing like that we'll be in with a shout I reckon. And he even looked like he had more in him. His legs looked to tire towards the 70 minute mark. A fully fit Pogba playing like that and we can beat anyone.

Jose has taken cheap shots at Pogba throughout the World Cup (WC) and even when Pogba won the WC, he went on to say that Pogba performed because the motivation was higher for France and that he was confined for that month with no distractions which brought out the best out of him. This was merely to deflect from the fact that he wasn't able to get the best out of him. No player is bigger than the team BUT if I had to choose, Pogba every single time before Mourinho.

I think as a manager, Mourinho should have praised Pogba and shown that he trusts Pogba and should have started the campaign on a positive note rather than bickering of not having a team that's not good enough to win the title.

Does give me a good chuckle to think of how Ferguson might have responded to a quote like that.

F365: One of Barcelona’s top brass has moved to dismiss speculation over any potential deal for Paul Pogba despite acknowledging the midfielder’s ability.

“I don’t think we’re going to make a move for Pogba, but he’s a great player,” Ariedo Braida told Spanish radio.

That comes hot on the heels of Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu admitting that there was still a possibility to bring in players before the window shuts in Spain at the end of August.

“We’re focused on the league, so it’s best to ask Eric Abidal, Ramon Planes or Pep Segura about players. There’s still time to do business.”

I didn't think I would see the day that a player that has proved nothing at the club would deem himself too good to be here and have the club by the balls.

It's a sad day isn't it.

That's what happens when there aren't any stars in the team. Sanchez should be one, but he's yet to fire for us. Lukaku is good, but doesn't have that 'star' factor. He could be godlike but fluffs some easy chances.

Maybe it's this type of circus that gave Fergie the nod to allow him to leave.

This has been handled poorly by both manager and player. Feels like there’s a dark cloud over the club right now, I don’t look forward to our games at the moment.

Anything of notice from the article? as I cant view it. Thanks.
There's been nothing of note in any of these articles. Just rumours and off hand quotes taken out of context and blown out of all proportion by the most precious supporters on the Internet.

If Pogba guided us to the title, what would Pogba's chances of winning the Balon D'or?
Small.

De Bruyne didn't get much of a look in for doing it for city. Hard to see Pogba topping his season.

Sick to my back teeth of this Love Island style drama.

Both of them should either just shut up or go.

If we sell Pogba before the end of the month we are well and truly fecked for the season, that's the reality. Ultimately if Barca want a player they invariably get their man.

The media is keen to drive this and I'm sure they'd love a scenario where we lose both Pogba and Mourinho, it depleats us massively. We simply have to put our foot down on this one, not sell our best player at a sh*t price with no time to find a replacement.

What is this supposed to mean? The guy plays in a team that often features Young, Jones, Smalling, Valencia, Herrera, Lingard, Lukaku and McTominay. What on earth is he going to prove? He won the bloody World Cup last month, proving exactly what he can do with good players around him.

World Cup semi-finalists.

Though I agree.

Though I also continue to see any issue with Pogba here which is a based on anything tangible.

Pogba is clearly in the wrong here if there is any truth in this story. Let's hope he can commit for another year and leave next season. Don't forget Pogba has done this before to SAF, the moment he feels like there is an injustice against him he throws his toys out of the pram and asks to leave.

Good player but has not hit the heights we expect for a world record signing and if we can get 160-200m for him next summer we could be in a position to go out and spend 250m-300m on players that will take us to a new level. I actually think this will turn out ok in the long run for Manchester United.

Think you will find it was the French squad who won the World Cup.

Jesus, we are not selling Pogba this window.

A lot of dramatics in this thread. No one here needs to be an "ITK" to know that we aren't going to sell him within the next couple of weeks.

Calm your shit.

Pogba is a massive twat and anybody who doesn't think he is, has their head stuck in the sand. Yes Mourinho is one himself but he tried to put it all to bed after the game by praising him and giving him the captains armband. If we can get a world record transfer for him, get rid of him asap.

1) Hi, I'm Ben, I've got my head stuck in the sand.
2) Why, specifically, is he a twat? Give me your top 5 points. If you include dancing or haircuts, you're on the ignore list.
3) Mourinho put what to bed? What has Pogba gotten out of the bed? When did he even give this "controversial" interview and, considering his character, how seriously do you think he meant that?
4) Yeah, if someone bids over £198 million for Pogba, we probably should sell. If I thought he was a massive twat, I'd probably aim for a more realistic figure though.

From the trawler in front of the seagulls.........
IF the latest revelations are true and that's a pretty BIG IF due to the medias relentless agenda against the club at the moment, then Pogba comes out of all this with very little credit. They could both put all the speculation to bed by appearing with the media together and showing an united front. I doubt it will happen though.
