Red Card for Casemiro!
How on earth can you come out into an interview and say that as the captain of Manchester United? Even if it's true, how on earth are you not ashamed of admitting that? What a fecking disgrace.

I wish we had sold him off. Sacking the manager now would be encouraging such attitude or rather the lack of it.

Good of him to admit it. Not sure it means a lot to the travelling supporters (never mind the rest of us).

Pretty worrying that the 'attitude' isn't right only two games into the season.

Good of him to admit it. But lets see if he actively tries to put a stop to it instead of just saying it because we lost.

Has he been crying or what - he's on MUTV now, red eyes and all...

Admitting it isn't going to do a lot of good. No matter what, one thing that cannot be questioned of a United player is attitude. You have to leave it all on the pitch, no matter what. It's terrifying when your own Captain says that he wasn't able to do it.

I think it was his way of saying the manager can't motivate the team. And honestly, in some respects I don't blame him.

You should always try and give your best but I don't think any of our players enjoy their football at the moment and it's understandable.

Mature of him to admit, although it'll probably be a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation from the fans. The same ones who were slating him for it will slate him for admitting it. Neither attitude will change the past or make things better moving forward.

Like with any relationship, recognizing a problem doesn't mean it's instantly fixed. It'll take time and work. I hope he's got it in him to put both in.

I'm lost for words. Unless it's lost in translation, I cannot believe that comment. Great that he's honest about it, but attitude towards a game while being a man Utd player should never be in question!
I'm worried!!

It’s not fecking acceptable, let alone the captain of the team.

Imagine Keane, Robson, Cantona etc coming out after a defeat in which we didn’t even put up a fight saying their attitude wasn’t right.

Absolute joke.

Honestly: I can understand why the attitude of some players doesn't seem to be right at the moment. If you have the potential a lot of our players have (Pogba, Martial, Sanchez..) and get then coached by a dinosaur who just isn't able to bring the best out of the team (nevermind yourself) this is just frustrating.

Mou is the problem and needs to leave - should have abaout a yeasr ago though..

At least he knows it.

Feck all is going to change though. Have been like that since he joined, incredibly inconsistent and frustrating. A great game followed by a crap one.

It's honest but it just adds more fuel to the fire for the upcoming shitstorm which will suit the media's narrative just fine.

It is going to be a long, long season.

Maybe there’s something personal going on with him or his family.
Either way, fix it the attitude ASAP.

I dislike Jose as much as the next guy but this embarassing 0/10 performances like these have nothing to do with the manager. Stop this nonsense

As if publically stating that will ensure it being right the rest of the season.

The fact that players' attitude isn't right means we have serious issues.

It could (and probably) will be used that way.

Quite a smart thing to say if Pogba does have an issue with Mourinho. Initially people ask 'why aren't the players mentally prepared?' from an individual perspective. Then after people ask 'wait, why isn't the manager preparing them right?'

Awesome. While its good to admit imagine what a Keane or Fergie would do in situations like this. Jose will not have balls for sure but he needs to be benched

I don't care if Jose is shite. If the players can't bring the right attitude in the 2nd match of the season that's on them.

On one hand, at least Pogba is admitting himself that his attitude wasn't right. BUT, why wasn't it right? Is the attitude going to be right next game? Isn't he our captain? Slightly concerning to hear this just two games into the season

Mature of him to admit it? It would have been more mature to go out onto the pitch with the right attitude. Absolute joke, especially from a highly paid, star player captain.

There is clearly bad blood between him and Mourinho.

Dosen't mean both hate the sight of each other of course as many people have good working relationship even if they don't see eye to eye on a personal level (don't think Pep and Aguero are huge on a personal level for example). Or that Pogba will leave in next two weeks.

I get this forum will always look to defend people at the club but seem odd people are in denial about this and think the media invert the issues between him and Mourinho. I'd say the off the record briefing would dismiss that.

They are everything to do with the manager. When an entire workforce is woeful then there is a problem with management. That ranges from schools to hospitals to football teams. No school is full of bad educators. No hospital is full of bad doctors and no football team is full of bad footballers, in spite of what Mourinho acolytes would have you believe.

I feel sorry for him tbh. He's not the player who's going to ensure the team dominates the game and make things happen but with correct management and system he could still be a terrific player (a.k.a. Sterling).

It puzzles me that there were United-fans who thought Everything was fine after Mourinhos comments about Pogba. Everything is not right - and it probably never will be. So its a question about who you want to stay ?
