Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku said Juventus are “one of the two-three best teams in Europe” and admits he’d love a move to Serie A.

The Premier League side are in the same Champions League group as Juve, Valencia and Young Boys, so will go head-to-head after the break for international duty.

“Juve have a great project in place and they just keep going. Every year they try to get stronger,” Lukaku told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Without doubt, Juve are one of the two-three best teams in Europe. They’ve got a great Coach on the bench and extraordinary players in every area of the team.

“Cristiano Ronaldo stands out, but watch out for the others too. Paulo Dybala is already impressive and getting stronger, while I love Douglas Costa. He’s an exceptional signing and his career shows he always makes the difference.

“It’s a tough group, but obviously Manchester United want to finish on top.”

Lukaku’s brother Jordan plays for Lazio as a wing-back, so Romelu was asked if he’d enjoy a Serie A experience.

“Why not? I hope it happens.”

Saw that earlier today, maybe he should focus on doing well for his current team before wishing himself off to Italy.

Thanks. We are a fecking state.
To be honest I don't actually think I'd mind that much if he left, if we could get a good fee for him. I don't think he suits us at all and he doesn't look arsed when he does play.

I'd be open to playing or working in Italy too. Should be smart enough to know that you don't say stuff like that when in this game though. That I know he is a smart fella makes me not like this. His attitude that is. I like that we could get a new striker.

I doubt you'll find many that consider him a must-keep player anyway.

Straight swap for Dybala and he's all yours Juve. The day we don't have a useless static lump up top can't come soon enough.

In what world is Dybala an equal swap for Lukaku? We’d have to bung an extra £50m!

Unlike Hazard trying to dump us...this Belgian leaving should be a blessing in disguise for you guys.
I've never been a fan of tall, stagnant strikers scoring tap-ins and stinking up the place with everything else.

I have a feeling the next manager would get rid of him and Matic. Two very Mourinho players and in my opinion holds us back in playing decent football.

Matic would be kept as part of the squad, but I can definitely see Lukaku being binned.

He’ll be at west ham before the next World Cup.

He faked his way into a career at Man Utd, he’ll not be able to do the same once more. Before someone brings up all his goals for Belgium, even Nicklas Bendtner could score hat-tricks against Gibraltar with de Breuyne and Hazard behind him.

The meltdown. From an offhand comment.

Some right sad feckers on this forum.
I think people are just expressing that they don’t want him leading the line for us anymore.

He’s not impressed me at all since he has been here and making comments about wanting to play for Juve whilst still playing for our club is a bit shitty especially since us/him have underperformed.

Where the grass is greener.
and not a single feck was given.

Couldn't care less if he left, he's not terrible, but he's also far from being the level we should be aiming for.

Christ you have players like Hazard openly admitting he doesn't know whether to sign a new contract because he wants to go to Madrid and there's barely a word in anger from the Chelsea supporters but Lukaku makes a comment barely fit for a footnote in an article and people are loosing their minds :wenger:
