Can't be arsed to change my vote from the 3rd option. However looks like he's lost it. He has no idea of how to turn this around it seems. It's just not working and he needs to go, if the board is interested in salvaging something out of the season. They don't seem to be interested in anything else but money so I think he will stay until the end of the season so they avoid the payout.

I think he's a great manager obviously but it's just not clicking.

Also, it would be pure negligence if Mourinho was sacked and serious questions weren't asked of Woodward, who has presided over 3 failing managers now. Use this as an opportunity to change the whole structure. Anything short, including just firing Mourinho, is just papering over the cracks.

But yeah. He needs to be gently let go.

He is 100% not a great manager any longer.

Comeback on.

All you hypocrites slagging Mourinho off will be singing his praises when we win this.
No, we won't.

We shouldn't be in this position against a decidedly weak Southampton side. The only reason we are in this position is because of Jose's ridiculous lineup and formation.

It's a real shame that it always takes getting embarrassed to finally get the shackles off in attack

I’m not the one bickering here. I am allowed to voice a reasonable disagreement, no? Then the other character went nuts.
I think you're aware you're going post-for-post, posts that are getting a little bit more irascible each time. It's not really necessary from either of you.

You are the disgrace here, I am AGREEING that Mourinho has to go - I was merely disagreeing that it’s worse than Moyes, which is not a stretch.

Then you started. You’ve lost your head here, mate.
Sorry for losing my head. Anyway we will probably win this anyway so you were right - it is better than Moyes.

@Fortitude my bad.

Anyone singing Mourinhos praises for anything during his time at United needs their head checked. The guy has been atrocious and has failed embarassingly as manager. Beating relegation fodder isnt praise worthy. It's barely the bare minimum.

All this 'he's still a great manager' talk I keep on hearing is an absolute load of bollocks. He couldn't set us up any worse if he tried.

Don't think that's true. He would still do well at a club like PSG maybe.

Jose has declined, but he isn't finished yet. United though is much too challenging a job for him. He should have gone to PSG instead of accepting our offer.

He’s, by all accounts, done at United but I’m sure he’ll achieve success elsewhere.

Bet Neymar can't wait for PSG to start playing Mourinho-ball.

We're all losing our heads. It doesn't have to fall to Moyes levels for us to push for a change.

The ego trips on so much as a qualification for the knockouts of the UCL make him unbearable.

The team is not half bad. If not title winning, at least comfortably top 4.

I hope we can get a proper coach in who can get the players he has playing rather than blaming every failure on the players and every little victory as his own.

Enough is fecking enough. We're the most tolerant fans out there and if every single one wants him out then it is for a reason.

He has been blaming players for no intensity yet even when all his favourites are on the pitch there isn’t any. It shows he is talking nonsense or simply can’t do his job.

There are lots of flaws with this squad but his tactics, team selections and motivational schemes are handicapping this team. Southampton are useless and can’t defend but we still looked scared of them.

Don't we have any CBs in our under 23/21 squad. A young CB would obviously play better than McTominay and what more we might even find a hidden gem like Rashford.

It is hard to say he will have a good future with us despite some win or come backs here and there because players's pride showed up at times and we are still a very good team.

But, after that, what is the plan? It is clear to see players are not exactly playing for him at this point. How do you get all of them back on your side now?

Absolute disgrace. The team selection, the performance. Even SAF was laughing after their second goal. Ed needs to cut loose on this one and do it tonight.

Inter's not a top club?

Otherwise I am struggling to think of a side. Probably if Tuchel doesn't pan out at PSG and they are looking for a defensive mind.
Historically they are a top club, but they cannot compete financially now can they?

100% this. And I honestly don’t think he has been that for a few years now. And I really don’t think he will succeed as a manager anymore. Way too stubborn and self-indulged for his own good without really showing signs of football intelligence during recent years.

The only thing that would give the players, fans and club a boost would to see breaking news tonight on Sky that this cnut has been sacked.

He sent Tuanzebe on loan. Why I don't understand he's easily good enough

Going 2-0 down against Southampton isn't good enough. We cannot keep going behind, then start playing.

It all starts with Jose. Jose's negativity, would bring any player down and any club down.

Winning the League Cup and Europa League in his first season, clouded for many the absolute garbage football we played. Nothing has improved. The football is still dire, he still doesn't have a settled team and he still picks favourites regardless of how poor they are.

The fact he is still manager is amazing, sooner he is gone the better.
