Mourinho will go now. There’s absolutely no doubt that his time at United is done.

Six years ago when we hired Moyes the majority of our online fan base were apocalyptic. We needed Jose. He was the one. When LVG was struggling united fans were desperate for Jose in. The majority of this board were jubilant when we signed him. “We are back” they roared.

Now obviously it was the wrong decision. Possibly the worst ever made by our club. But now that has happened some of us are having to deal with the fact that we don’t have an automatic right to win anything. It’s hard to take but there’s no quick fixes for our club now.

The good news is whoever takes over next has a vast array of talent. The best keeper in the world. Tony Martial. Marcus Rashford. Paul Pogba. Dalot looks promising.

As Jose’s time comes to a precitably shit end, you have to keep the faith. We are a massive club with massive finances and world class facilities. Our best players are young. Our fan base will be united once more.

Tonight go to bed with troubled sleep, but just know that if you keep following then the good days will be all the sweeter.
The worrying bit for me is that whoever we sign next summer won’t have the resume of our last 2 managers.LVG and Mourinho had a stellar gold star rating, they fit the bill perfectly in almost every single way(Apart from style of play)....Our next manager won’t be as qualified as either of those 2...Doesn’t mean that he will fail, but we just shouldn’t get too giddy at the prospect of a new manager taking over next summer and leading us to the promised land immediately....Our revival will take time, regardless of the talent at our disposal...

I think he's done but maybe nearer the end of the season or when we have 45 points.

Unless the owners can bring in some top people to run the club and move Ed to the commercial side at least, we won't be turning any corner soon.

At the moment we're a slowly deteriorating relic.

Too bad that the local fans don't have the balls to do anything. Coming from a South American country, it's weird not to see the fans at the stadium/training center rioting against the manager, players and the board.
It's so weird that after 2 years, this is your first and only post.

Is more than enough to challenge for top four.
Also add the youth coming through, Chong, Gomes, Garner, Laird, Greenwood etc. The new coach has plenty of talent to work with.

Most expensive player in the world
Former most talented youngster in the world.

What did Klopp have when he took over Liverpool?
You're really stretching with those two.

Klopp inherited a bad squad which is why he needed time and money to put things right. And even then, he's yet to win a trophy, which shows you just how brutal the competition is. Any new manager coming in is going to need a lot of time and investment as the current squad is miles behind the competition.

Klopp needed a few seasons. His first signing was a centre back from QPR who he played up front.

Is it f***.

We are stuck with this until March or April. Only when 4th place is gone (and if it does not disrupt a cup match), will the club act.

They are happy to mess up the rest of the season, lose players and botch our prep for next season for the sake of a few million

We are at this stage that we don't have any clue what is wrong! Board, manager or players or everyone. Let alone how to fix it! While our club is a circus right now, dancing fellas, businessman and a coward on touch line who can't manage his side get a pass or two right. Fexk this

I do think there's quite a bit of potential and ability in this side. Wish I could share your optimism about Mourinho getting sacked though.

Darn it. You were right all along, @Wumminator. You stood by your strong stance against the rubbish one, and were proven correct. Fair play.

The Glazers currently own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers - perennial losers.

They won't care if we don't win the PL any time soon as long as the money keeps rolling in.

That is a sad fact the richest club in the world willing to through the season down the drain for the sake of penny pinching on a few million.

This is what I fear!

We are light years away from challenging for anything, think we got a good few years in the wilderness now. Especially with Pogba, De Gea and Martial likely to be gone in the summer.

I just hope we rebuild the way Ferguson did it, passionate, loyal, young, talented and very hungry players. We need a new identity, and a plan to enforce it.
Do you really think even 2 of those 3 will go?

Jose will go and the 3 will stay I'd be fairly confident.

Isn't it about £15m?
That's still a lot of money, when you're not actually getting anything from it.

Giving him a new contract as he was flirting with psg was the worst kind of panic trap Woodward fell into.

I am yet to be convinced he would get sacked even for failing to get top 4.

We've shown we'll do that with the last 2.
He got a bye in season 1 as he was settling in and won the 2 cups, but not this year for sure.

Thought exactly the same thing at the time and think it is disgrsaceful that he should have even entertained the notion of leaving at the time. At the point I lost all the respect I had left for him mate. (Which wasn't a lot).

Even if we sack him now, there's no guarantee that the next manager might not be worse.

This opinion is doin my head in. Despite what you think there’s a very clear path to DeGea Pogba and Martial leaving this summer (or sooner).

If you looked at the players we sent out on the field today and were filled with confidence for our next manager, you can’t view this club objectively. The guys we put out today cannot play football against a half decent side let alone a far superior side. They played like a championship or lower side in an FA Cup match. That’s how outclassed we are from a technical standpoint.

Stand by the club by all means but be objective at least.

I don't think he will be sacked until a big name is available to replace him + it becomes mathematically impossible for top 4.

Thats no reason to keep a manager who isn't going to achieve success, since when was United a club which didn't have an appetite for risk?
