Average performance, 2 points dropped. But can’t fault the effort, we could have let our heads go down but we kept going.

Tom Heaton is like a mini De Gea, he did this to us 2 years ago, really good keeper.

Still, comeback was great fun and to be honest it was a great feeling when Lindelof scored

Annoying but such is life. The run had to come to an end at some point.
Easy to say in hindsight but the starting XI never really inspired from the get-go.
Also, feck Burnley-irrelevant tinpot wankers.

Rashford's end product was poor throughout.

Pogba was pretty loose and poor until he got injured.

Young's delivery was highly frustrating.

Burnley game raising cnuts.

Just one of them nights you have to forget and move on from.

I bought a new TV today and really had to stop myself from breaking it

Is Young the new Matic? Why have people been slating his performances recently, he's been decent. Same goes for Mata today.

Lost two points, but today i was watching the type of Manchester United i fell in love with 20 years ago. That comeback to save that 1 point after going 0-2 down was beautiful. "Don't change a winning side".. Easy to say that with 6 games in the next 4 weeks coming up, 2 against PSG and one against Liverpool. We have humans in our squads, not robots.

At least these games show that we need quality signings in really important areas this summer.

Don't point the finger to Mata he really did very well when played in center. This is on Ole, he should have taken Rashford off instead of Lukaku and Perrera surely had to not started this at all, he is not our quality and even when he was loaned out to Valencia he was shit.
And Jones my God ffs enough, hope Smalling takes the partnership with Lindelof.
Pereira should not have started, yes. Fred would have been better.

We were lucky again and that’s carried us for too many games.

Look at the Spurs game, who was man of the match?

I actually think we learned way more about this side tonight than in the last 8 games. Mata, Lukaku and Pierrera were shocking tonight, and a major upgrade is needed. Delighted with the point, and the character we showed.

Sadly we ran into that Premiership combo that is opposition keeper playing out of his skin and shite team raising their game.

Good fightback. Thought we tried too many shots from outside the box. Should have got much closer to their goal rather. Will be interesting to see how Ole will manage the squad with games coming thick and fast.

Mata never does much wrong, problem
is he’s playing it safe, all the time, should’ve done much better with his through ball in the box and that free kick on the edge of the box was disrespectful.
What?? As opposed to other players who take respectful free-kicks which find the back of the net every time?

I don't think he played safe. He played the passes he could see and he made some nice clever runs into the box. I think it is a bit extreme to say he was playing it safe. It was not like he was passing it back all the time

Lukaku was decent I thought.

Really enjoyed that.

We need new investment to replace some of these lads. That was a carbon copy of some earlier games this season and we should stop making excuses for them.

Ole has the benefit of not having signed any of them so i hope he drops the giving lads a chance mantra and sticks to those who quickly earnt his trust. The odd rotation is fine but not in bulk.

Just wanna mention one thing before I go to bed, Lindelof was a beast tonight he looks so confident and dominant in everything he does.

I would like to see a Lindelof and Smalling partnership in the near future.

Alot of shit needs shifting.

DDG
Romero

Dalot
Smalling
Bailly
Lindelof
Shaw
Young

Matic
Pogba
Herrera

Martial
Rashford
Lingard

These above our the first team members I would keep.
Almost spot on imo. The only thing I would change is Young. Last few games has really changed my opinion on his worth moving forward.

Love our fans. Sit here and demand fecking insane intensity, high pressure and lots of attack and goals. THEN start whining about rotation.... Get a grip, please. We lack quality outside of our top 11 starters, but we cannot just play the same 11 every game. It is not doable. And todays lineup should have the quality to beat fecking Burnley. Both the goals come after mistakes and pathetic defending. Nothing you can blame any manager or coach for.

Mourinho was spot on about of defence. Only Lindelof(Who would have said that 1 month ago) seems to have the quality required. Maybe Shaw, if i am being nice.

In all honesty it feels like the high of Mourinho leaving and the novelty of a new manager wearing off has contrived to the players slipping slightly in performance tonight, we badly need a quality CB but Woodward has got away with it this window because of Ole's good start!

Great spirit. Great comeback. Typical Burnley shithousery. Attack wasn't good enough tonight, and Pereria got exposed.
Pereria had bad luck with the slip but the ball should have been got rid of before trying to dribble in a vunerable position. He doesnt seem to be anything special to me but time will tell.
Not a good game to watch but the fight back was encouraging. Lindlehof and Jones not bad from both which is encouraging. The midfield was lacking tonight.

2 points dropped and the 100% record gone which sucks.

But on the other hand atleast we rescued a point after being 2 down. Good fight back.

OGS has to rotate players because he cant play the same team all the time. Jesse and Herrera are carrying some knocks. Problem is our squad players are not that good

Just got out of work and saw the score. Crazy!

Were we just dogshit for 85 mins then turned it on at the last second?
Not really. We tried well. But our finishing was poor and we were not creative enough with ideas. Besides Burnley were immense in defense, first to all balls into the box and their keeper made some good timely saves and their front were clinical with whatever little chances they created.
And Rashford missed a sitter, a few other chances, while Pereira slipped/slept and gave away the ball in dangerous area, leading to the first goal.

Edit: And City slipped up against Newcastle, effectively handing the title to Pool. So cheers to that.

Looking at it now calmed down, perhaps ole thought he was a god and could pick any 11 and they would win every game. It might be a blessing in disguise that he plays his strongest 11 and leaves Mata Lukaku Sanchez and pereira on the bench.
Of course he doesnt think he's a god!

Ferguson was all about rotating at the right time, a player here a player there. He would often talk about how crucial it was to have the whole squad fit, confident and in form with 10 matches to go. Occasionally even SAF would drop points but I'm sure he learned more about his players each and every time.

Ole said just the other day that there will be tests and he needed to see how players deal with them.

It was great to see Utd take it to them for the last 15 mins and Ole no doubt learned a lot from this.

You are really really forgetting where we were six weeks ago. None of these players were signed by Ole but he has brought so much spirit back to the players, the fans and the club in general.

My wit's end
Our 4 best players under Ole have been Rashford, Pogba, Lingard and Martial.

Tonight, Rashford and Pogba were off their game, whilst the other two were absent from the first XI. Starting only two of them should have been enough, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

I thought Lukaku and Mata were decent. In terms of our attack, we mostly did the right things and looked dangerous despite making mistakes.

The problem was that in midfield Pogba was a one-man-show. He played at about a six out of ten for most of the match. That's more than excusable, but when there's nobody else offering creativity, it becomes a big issue to have all of our eggs in one basket.

I think the lesson is that our midfield creativity needs to be addressed as a priority. It's madness to rely on only one man alone for an entire season.

Everyone should be allowed off-days, but the squad's imbalanced composition means that Pogba isn't.

Again same shit. I don't know how many times we saw this in Jose era. Missed clear chance in opening minutes which would kill the game and after that problems.
This game was on Ole imo. You must rotate of course but this is PL. Don't rotate that much. He changed whole attack. Subs were late and partly wrong. Lukaku should stayed on the pitch if he decided to go on crossing game.
Jones again with brainless decision with that pass to Pereira( not saying that Andreas is not guilty, he is guilty for that goal). Rashford was also very bad.

Positive is that we played till the end, Pogba is absolute leader and our best player, Lindelof again great, Matic also was very good. Special mention to Mata and Young. Lots of everything, good moves, bad moves but they were part of every attack. On a good side and on a bad side.

And yes. Moss is a prick. Didn't give us penalty after handball( ok, it was 50-50), he gave fouls to Burnley for every single light contact and allowed Heaton to waste time last fecking 30 minutes. And for his last goal kick he wasted 40 seconds which Moss didn't add.
But we are still in the fight for CL. 5 points is nothing in PL. Chelsea home match will be crucial.

Shaw played well, better than Young who saw a lot more of the ball and was poor for the most part even when you cannot fault his effort and urgency.

Andreas played too deep and obviously got caught out for the goal but Jones didn't do him any favors with that ball to begin with. Hopefully Pogba didn't injure himself further as he was carrying a knock/injury then finished the match.

Mata didn't cope well with the physicality or pace around him. Rashford was way off tonight and even though he started from the left side, he was still able to move about and didn't provide the quality needed. Margins are fine and just needed a bit more composure to really give himself a chance.

Good effort but got punished when United made mistakes near their goal. Every point counts so roll onto Sunday.

Young was pretty poor. Kept playing it behind his man slightly, rubbish crossing bar one.

Jones, what was that pass?

Lindelof, still looks great and got the leveller.

Shaw was great first half.

Pereira, absent apart from his assist to Burnley.

Rashford, rubbish all day.

Mata, looked lively at times but lack of acceleration and strength showed.

Sanchez, why does he try those crossfield balls? 80% chance he misplaces it, 50% chance it goes out of play.

Ref - wank.

Great to see us fight back though.

I totally understand why Ole made the changes with an absolutely awful fixture list coming up but our squad isn't the best and it got exposed a bit tonight. The fighting spirit shown was fantastic though. Proper United

If a few players are leaving I hope we can get at least get one to come in.

Our finishing was poor tonight. So many shots, so little goals. Rashford had a night to forget, Lukaku was pretty useless and Mata is simply not a right winger. Thought he was good in midfield. If we had started the game with him in midfield, Lingard on the wing and no Pereira it would've been much better I think. Pereira obviously was shite. He had an hour to prove his worth yet all he proved is we should get rid of him. Young slowed down play and was predictable. Jones not good enough. I think Ole learned a lot about his squad today.

I pleased with the match tonight.

Why - because life is easy when things are going well and you're knocking them in.

Yep, we were off colour tonight and gave a way two bad goals, but we were losing 0-2 at 87 minutes and drew 2-2.

That takes character and determination to achieve that.

That was a Manchester United team, tonight.

Rashford finishes the chance in the first half and its a different story.

Overall we were poor tonight, and as Burnley parked the bus, very difficult to utilise the pace of the team.

1 more minute and I felt like we could've won. Great spirit.

Pereira cost us, first goal is the most important

I said this before - Don't ever start mata, ever, in any system. If you want to give him some play time because you somehow feel obligated to, then bring him when we are leading comfortably.
Absolutely. And for instance he should never have been playing against Newcastle and Juventus :houllier: (Just bear that in mind when we play PSG - we could have been out of the CL)

He is. A magnificent improvement. Few really so few errors but with the right partnership he's gonna be our best C.B in the future I reckon. And please no Fecking Jones.
