HahaGoku vs Vegeta
Falcao at United vs Gravity
Well those stats are kind of accurate as it shows both have been shite, one margainly less so.I don't think those statistics accurately represent just how shite Morata actually was for Chelsea.
Hardly “margainly”. Those stats show a big gap between them.Well those stats are kind of accurate as it shows both have been shite, one margainly less so.
As per transfermarkt: none this season, six last season, so very few for Chelsea. Looks notably different for his career as a whole though: 82g - 37a in all major competitions.Hardly “margainly”. Those stats show a big gap between them.
I reckon throwing assists in the mix would make the gap even more evident. Has Morata got any assists?
As @Pogue Mahone alluded to, once you throw Lukaku's 13 assists into the mix in comparison to Morata's 6 you get an even clearer picture of how comparatively shite he was for your lot but feel free to keep pretending otherwise.Well those stats are kind of accurate as it shows both have been shite, one margainly less so.
This is really the crux of the debate. Both sides would have been much better off if they went for a cheaper alternative instead of these two, and bided their time until someone better become available. As it is stands now, Chelsea did the right thing. Whether we will cut our losses with Lukaku, who knows? No one wins this debate. At least Chelsea have cut their losses and will most likely only take a £10m hit on the Morata deal. We'd be lucky to get a little over half of what we've paid for Rom.
Don't see how this is the case. Plenty saw the shortcomings of Lukaku but acknowledged his very good goalscoring record. Those who rated Morata on the other hand based it off nothing but hopes and dreams (and that one run against Bayern Munich). Still now you have some talking about Morata being more 'technical' or having a 'higher ceiling', the guy has a wayward touch, can't hold up the ball, can't finish, can't link the play. He's the definition of average and the only thing he excels at is heading. Both overrated it seems.
And yet hes managed to sign for the second best team in Spain and will play in the Champions League...what is it that Simone is not seeing that you are? or should that be the other way round..Don't see how this is the case. Best team in Italy and arguably best 3 in Europe wanted Darmian, means nothing. And yet hes managed to sign for the second best team in Spain and will play in the Champions League...what is it that Simone is not seeing that you are? or should that be the other way round..
Conte thought he saw whatever Simeon thinks he seeing to be fair. And yet hes managed to sign for the second best team in Spain and will play in the Champions League...what is it that Simone is not seeing that you are? or should that be the other way round..
Ultimately it doesn't really matter now.As @Pogue Mahone alluded to, once you throw Lukaku's 13 assists into the mix in comparison to Morata's 6 you get an even clearer picture of how comparatively shite he was for your lot but feel free to keep pretending otherwise.
You mean the newspaper articles written every window that you take at facevalue but has never come to pass. Darmian is still at United. Morota left Chelsea to join the second best in Spain.Best team in Italy and arguably best 3 in Europe wanted Darmian, means nothing.
We aren't talking about some random papers, Juventus, Inter interest is reported by some of the most reliable journalists. You mean the newspaper articles written every window that you take at facevalue but has never come to pass. There's clearly a player in there otherwise Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea & Atletico wouldn't be on his resume
Nothing but Twitter click bait, thats how the modern media works. Fact is theres been speculation after every window for the last 3 years, but he hasn't movedWe aren't talking about some random papers, Juventus, Inter interest is reported by some of the most reliable journalists.
Of course there is a player somewhere, he was good for Juventus and since he joined Chelsea, he has been nothing but average to poor player.
No, that's now how it works. Just because 2 clubs didn't agree on fee doesn't mean it was bs.Nothing but Twitter click bait, thats how the modern media works. Fact is theres been speculation after every window for the last 3 years, but he hasn't moved
Morienties was average as well for Liverpool. Don't put too much stake in English football as some kind of pinnacle.

Not even sure what your second point is meant to be, looks like you are arguing some imaginary points.
Speculation.
Imaginary, says the person trying to apply speculation to something that actually has happened..
The point is everyone that writes off Morata is because he had a average spell in England yet still had a top club who wanted him
