He's a good player but those asking for him to be signed are crazy or having a laugh. Last thing we need is another problematic player with a cnut of an agent to boot.

No thanks, we don't need another slow poacher. For me it's Ciro Immobile or nothing. Watched many games of the two. Immobile just offers a lot more to a teams build up compared to Icardi.

He is also not suited to us, depending on our next manager of course. People want a more fluid front three, with Icardi you wont get that. Our useless crossing would be nice if someone is in the middle to convert them though, but generally, i dont feel he is the type we should go for. He is too passive in the build up. I wouldnt mind trading him with Lukaku sporting wise, but with the cost and the off the field issues he is coming with, no thanks.

Immobile has failed miserably at both clubs he's been at outside of Italy.

wasnt he at barca as a kid?
could see him going back there as suarez is going to be 33 next season

seems a bit of a cock though - that whole thing with his mates wife is amature compared to giggs but parading the kids round with his name on their shirt and refusing to play for the club - personally id rather stay well away from him even though he is clearly a talented player

Messi hates him for his stealing Maxi Lopez wife move.

I wouldn't say he failed miserably. He played around 32 matches total for Dortmund and Sevilla a few years back and both teams were going through a transition period. I still believe he offers more than Icardi.

They were apparently cheating on each other. Still, Icardi started doinking her while she was still married to Lopez, which is a pretty scummy thing to do, regardless of the circumstances.
Perhaps, not legally though. In the Argentinian court he was found having cheated multiple times, she wasn't, so if they both did it she hid it better. In any case Icardi isn't the one that should be singled out as some kind of villain in all this. It's enough to shit on him for refusing to travel with his club. Anything else regarding Icardi are just hearsay but this is bonafide scummy.

Isn't that what Terry is hated for? Sleeping with a teammate's ex.
Yes, immediately after they broke up. Difference here is Terry and Bridge were both still team mates at Chelsea and England, this caused Bridge to not to be able to play for England anymore and worst of all Terry cheated on his own wife who he has children with, not to mention his infidelity was proven whilst the Icardi thing happened post-marriage so no one did anything wrong. Ironically this also happened whilst he was cheating.

Icardi has been with this woman for 6 years, since he was 19, and he's been a step-father to 3. You think he's been a scumbag hooking up with her after her divorce?

Its interesting hearing people questioning his attitude, as to me that provokes images of players not giving a feck and strolling around the pitch without a care! Icardi is the opposite to this; he's a win at all costs player in the mould of a Roy Keane or Diego Costa... personally I believe that's exactly the profile of player we need!

I would take Icardi in a heart beat, I would also take Rabiot. We would be so much better immediately. Seems attitude is a big turn off for our fans though.
I wish half the mediocre players we have signed over the years had bad attitudes prior to joining.

Attitude isn't the only problem with Icardi.

The very same people are seemingly oblivious to the fact that looking from outside at players already at the club, you have a player stripped of captaincy and branded a virus by his manager and another criticised for going awol during pre season.

Football fans act like everything is a fecking soap opera and if you're not James Milner, you're trouble.

yeah... Wanda Nara has been Maxi Lopez's Wife, they have 3 children togheter.
Icardi is not a world class player imho, and he'll never be, a champion is made of humbleness, moral principles, he has none.
Do not want.
Humbleness and moral principals lord almighty are you recruiting for a nunnery?

GOAT Ronaldo isn’t humble and himself and Messi certainly didn’t have moral problems with mega tax evasion. Yet champions they are.

He doesn't fit in with the kind of football I want us playing. As simple as that.

Spare me the high and mighty holier than thou attitude. What has humbleness got to do footballers. We must be the only club that has to take the moral high ground every fecking time. I don't even know why fans worry about these things.

Seems like he's got Chelsea all over tbh. Unless we can shift Lukaku then I don't think we have space.

Immobile...interesting wish. Didn't do much at Dortmund or Sevilla so suggests to me a player who's more than comfortable in his home environment. Also coming up to 30 so I'd expect him to stay in Italy if he leaves Lazio.

They want to sign Higuain full time so that would rule Icardi out.
Not sure it would, they have no other strikers if Higuain get's injured. Whether they want both at the same time though is debatable.
