The House committees will subpoena Mueller whether they get the full or partial report from Barr.
The key questions will be about areas/people he could not investigate because he was not allowed to.

This is when it will get better.

Be patient.
Mueller and his team were never overruled.

Mueller Report is a nothingburger, Trump is a grifter, not a Russian spy.
That doesn't mean he hasn't broken countless laws. It also doesn't mean he hasn't been compromised. It also doesn't explain all the strange goings on with various leaders such as Putin, Kim and MBS.

Why no transcripts of his meetings with Putin? Why the secrecy around everything? Why the refusal to knock Putin or Russia and the constant need to refer to him as a friend?

Maddow tonight. She's been the biggest winner of this whole Russiagate. Racking up rankings spouting Alex Jones level conspiracy theories for two years while fooling millions of people. She'll double down, no doubt. The journalist and elite class never take face action and responsibility for their frauds and lies, that's why all the people who promoted the Iraq WMD conspiracy still have well-paid gigs on national media. They're all in it as one, that's why human scum like Bill Kristol and David Frum are regular guests on the "liberal" MSNBC.

At the end of the day, Mueller has submitted his report to the DOJ and zero Americans have been indicted for conspiring with Russians to influence the 2016 election (assuming the leaks about what's in the report is true.)
Sounds like you're talking about Michael Cohen's third client Sean Hannity

You got me.

He will be going to jail soon for the crimes of 'all the strange goings on with various leaders', 'no transcripts of his meetings with Putin' & the refusal to knock Putin or Russia and the constant need to refer to him as a friend.

Do you just not remember the months of speculation you've made about what will come out in the report or as part of the investigation, all the things Trump and his cronies should be terrified about? Or do you think all along you were saying "this is just the start"? The good thing about the written word is it's easy to review in times like this. You can see the reality of it. I think if you re-read your posts in that thread, and then read this one, you'd find a pretty striking distortion of reality throughout this process.

We still do not know what is in the report. perhaps you do?
Where it will take us?

The Americans are simply not going to let a Russian asset get away with what Trump has done.

btw its not just me. Most of us have speculated about the investigations.

Well from what I have read online and what other indications point to is that the Muller report isn't as damning as was expected . It seems like a total dud after all the great expectations from it . Trump will probably get away unscathed from any ramifications from this report . This report was supposed to be the smoking gun which would lead to the impeachment of Trump but from the looks of it I don't think that will happen now .

There are rumours swirling around that this report is just the first part and there is more to come which will be very damaging to Trump but all that is only speculation but still many of us are still hopeful that might be the case .

What a joke. You don’t need a report to know Trump is shady as feck. U.K. and US have turned into banana republics of the lowest order. May openly offering bungs for votes and no one bats an eyelid.

I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen posters suggest Trump's end is imminent because the next thing will definitely bring him down. "He's really feeling the pressure now".

People have to stop setting themselves up for dissapointment.

Freely admitting I'd drunk the kool aid and had hoped the report might see Trump taking a big fall and I'm a huge liberal leftie how does this not look like an exercise in keeping the public happy for 3 years, rolling up the small fry and leaving Trump ready to say 'Elect me in 2020 now I know the sort of people not to surround myself with and btw, look at the booming economy. The low low low Unemployment Numbers and that huge tax rebate I'll give you all again! Mega Maga!'?

Fecking Republicans....

He's isn't going nowhere, he's made countless blunders which should have amounted to his removal, the bar has been set extremely high.

Look at all the "I told you so's" coming out. Some of which have never even posted in the Russia thread and many who have and were just as involved. The Trumpers will be out in full force... The cowards who have hidden and said nothing for then last two years. Pathetic and utterly predictable.

Can't say I'm surprised. There was a lot of naivety here.
Take a break why don't you?

It's not as if this isn't the first time the American people and the World have seen such a gobshite, lying, corrupt, philandering, cheating cnut in the Whitehouse.

Don't be blaming us for believing the yanks might have some standards!

I bet half of the world doesn't even give a shit about Trump at all. In fact, they see potentially bigger cnuts in their own governments every day.

Thing is though, Trump himself was never gonna get hurt severely during the presidency. I reckon he might be in more dangerous waters after he leaves the White House though. He would be of less importance to those who rely on him for favors/career options.

I havent given two shits about American politics but loathe Trump. All normal, sane people with a moral grounding should hate the cnut, he's also extremely dangerous given his background for shady deals (see nucleur deals with Saudi Arabia). I think you're being naive if you think otherwise.

Swap Trump for Bush and this exact post word for word could have applied from 2001 to 2009.

So it's official there's nothing in muellers report on trump?
Nobody knows what is in the report apart from Mueller, his subordinates, Barr, Rosenstein and whatever staffers are involved at the justice department.

There has been no further indictments from Mueller. That's all we know so far.

I can "proudly" admit to have been vocal in my conviction that Trump will never be taken down. I say "proudly" because it sucks dicks and I wish they'd lock him up, but come on, humanity is shite we deserve four more years of Trump.

I'm making this post again. Neal Katyal, who drafted the regulations that govern the special counsel investigation, said this:

Neal Katyal

Right. Donald Trump has to be worried about winning the battle and losing the war — that is, getting a short report that maybe sides with him, and maybe sides with him in a brief way.

Because that, more than anything, is going to raise the suspicions of Congress, of federal prosecutors in other offices and state attorneys general, and, ultimately, the suspicions of the American public.

Michael Barbaro

So counterintuitively, I mean very counterintuitively, the best thing for President Trump might be for Congress to receive not a short, nothing-much-there-to-report Mueller report, but a fairly comprehensive, somewhat damning, but not overwhelmingly so report.

Neal Katyal

That’s a beautiful summary.
He predicted exactly what is happening.

Bush wasn't a disgusting human being, he was a stupid man that made stupid decisions. Trump is making stupid decisions whilst behaving like an utter cnut every day.
There's plenty disgusting about Bush. Plenty.

Bush is still the worst President in modern history. His decisions cost lives, damaged civilian states and security on a false premise.

Trump is responsible for a hell of a lot of horrendous shit, but the way he's produced a "Bush wasn't that bad" attitude from some people is remarkable.

Agree. However, 9/11 brought rather unique circumstances that allowed him to do more damage than he otherwise would have. It may well be the case that were someone like Trump to find themselves in similar circumstances they may surpass even Bush in terms of damage done.
