To be fair it was going to end this way for a while. Dortmund have dropped silly points too many times and Bayern were going to capitalize on that if the gap between them was 1-3 points before they met in Munich.

Jesus they're getting brazilled..

Dortmunds shape is completely wrong. Why is Reus playing up top? They need someone to control the ball in midfield.

I call it now, they won't win against Freiburg next game.
I'll definitely tune in for that one. They'll need to bounce back immediately otherwise it's pretty much all over.

Earlier today it took me about 2 seconds to decide to watch this game instead of the cup semi.

Joke’s on me. Switching over now.

Pathetic from Dortmund.

My stream went down just before the third goal... must have been a Dortmund fan. Oh well.

It is the formation
Never understand that 4-3-3 or nearly 4-3-3 with 3 midfielders when they always rock the park with that formation. It is not a winning guarantee - for sure - but so often.

Not a massive surprise. Bayern’s squad is miles better, they’d just lost collective confidence earlier in the season. After watching Dortmund a fair bit since Sancho joined I’d say there’s only Sancho and Reus that I’d be happy for United to sign whereas Bayern have loads of players that would improve our squad.

Hope Dortmund come back a bit in the second. The Bayern hegemony in the Bundesliga is boring.

Just realized that the Bundesliga is 34 games instead of 38 so not many games left for Dortmund to do catch-up. Pretty pathetic from Dortmund starting the season so well, killing it in the CL group stage and the league, and just collapsing like this. As much as I love my boys from Bayern München, it would be nice to see Dortmund breaking their 6 year stranglehold.

I don't know why BVB don't even try to get the ball. Liverpool has shown the path.
Presumably the supposed football God that is Michael Zorc has told them not to.

After all he’s the one who determines the philosophy, and recruits players and management to consistently implement this style.

It’s not like they’re a glorified Youth Academy and feeder club, in a dodgy league or anything.

Dortmund’s defending is Huddersfield standard. I know they have ting players but they are taking liberties with world class players

Dortmund really did shit themselves in that first half. They were negative from the start and couldn't cope with Bayern because of their negative mentality. Poor from Favre to go with that lineup and setup to defend, when their strength is going forward.

Nah, Bayern got a tough draw against a team who will likely win the Premier League this season (sorry). Any other draw apart from maybe us due to our form at the time of the RO16 and style of play and they would have gotten through. They’re still a good team, who just have a few flaws.

As for Dortmund though, they were shocking against Spurs, who were seen as a good draw for them.
Nah, that's understating it. City, Juve, PSG, Barca, Atletico all would've beaten them. United, Madrid and Ajax would've had a chance too. Bayern are not the team they were.
