feck wolves
Agree with this.Wolves would've beaten City in the final, Watford haven't a hope.
Pricks.
Same. Can’t stand Wolves. Always hated them even before tonight, horrible club, awful city, I abhor everything about them and hope they disappear again soon.
Good. Hope that teaches him to celebrate at the end of the game next time, or he can give up the stupid mask. The Jimenez mask celebration at 2-0 looks very very embarrassing now.
People still get upset over that? Of course fans and teams will celebrate unlikely draws and wins against the top 6.Same.
I'm not too far from Wolverhampton and it seems most people around by us support them.
You'd have thought they'd won the World Cup after the draw against us in the league last September, had to get the train back down here and it was full of them.
Why?The Jimenez mask celebration at 2-0 looks very very embarrassing now.
It was always going to happen. For me at least, it was a knowingly bitter shit-eating grin I was wearing at full time. I hope no United fans without direct contact with the club or their fans has genuine hatred for Wolves after they've beaten us a couple of times, but a bit of wry piss taking now is par for the course.Amazed at the bitterness towards them. Play good football and are pretty likeable. Their style of play is suited to playing bigger teams. They weren't even that good against United midweek compared to their performances v other big sides this season.
Resting his best players. Surely you can't lose a 2-0 lead.Agree with this.
Wolves play good football and with their quality up front they would have caused city serious problems.
What Santos was doing with his substitutions I'll never understand.
If you're going to celebrate scoring a goal like that; your team has to win. Why?
Don’t need them down a peg or two! We’re done with them for the season, yet they still have Liverpool, Arsenal and would have been City in the final. We want them flying high!Delighted they’ve lost, will bring them down a peg or two.
Agreed. United walked all over them till they got the equaliser, and even then they didn't look to be doing much till the sending off.Amazed at the bitterness towards them. Bet you wont see him do the same again should he ever find himself in a similar situation.Resting his best players. Surely you can't lose a 2-0 lead.
They're playing for nothing in the league basically, why wouldn't they want to do better against United than Burnley? They had 5 days between the United game and the Semi, there was no need to rest anyone against United, regardless of what happened today. They rested their team at Burnley and threw away the PTS to have a stronger team out against United which was closer to their semi final. They deserved what they got today. They should have gone full strength at Burnley instead of their cup final versus us. Look where it got them. Threw 3pts away in league and didn't get to the final anyway. feck Wolves.
Why? The mask was a gift to him by a mexican wrestler. If you're going to celebrate scoring a goal like that; your team has to win.
They are still very much in the race for Europa. They're playing for nothing in the league basically, why wouldn't they want to do better against United than Burnley? .
Each to their own I guess. I thought it was a bit daft. Why? The mask was a gift to him by a mexican wrestler.
It's not like he was cocky or anything... it was a cool celebration that wasn't disrespectful at all so what's the problem?
They are a small time outfit who have spent stupid amounts of cash on wages and fees for players that they only got through some odd deal with Mendes.Amazed at the bitterness towards them. Play good football and are pretty likeable. Their style of play is suited to playing bigger teams. They weren't even that good against United midweek compared to their performances v other big sides this season.
Because their real cup final is against United. It's pretty clear what their priorities were. They saw Watford as a formality and it bit them on the arse. It's very satisfyingThis is a shame. No way Watford will beat City barring a miracle. Wolves would have had a much better chance.
I still don't get why Wolves rested players against Burnley and started full team against us when our match was closer to this.
Having thought about it, maybe they thought they needed the stronger team to get points from the United game? I'm not sure what this "United cup final" is... are we supposed to have some rivalry against them? Or are people just acting butt-hurt?Because their real cup final is against United. No idea. I just enjoyed seeing them get knocked out after being 2-0 and acting like they were already in the final.Having thought about it, maybe they thought they needed the stronger team to get points from the United game? Luchador masks are a big part of Mexican culture, what's wrong with him bringing a little bit of his culture out there? Each to their own I guess. I thought it was a bit daft.
To be fair, I didn't care too much. My concern was more to do with Wolves being more likely to beat City than Watford. Plus, whenever we lose in a competition, and it's not against a bitter rival/due to controversial circumstances, I usually prefer that team to win the tournament. No idea. They've bought players who wouldn't have picked Wolverhampton out on a map before they got a rich owner. Another in a long line of sugar daddy clubs trying to buy their way into the champions league.
Thought it was funny and satisfying. If you didn't then that's fine
Ah come on man. Whats happening at Wolves is a good thing. No idea. I just enjoyed seeing them get knocked out after being 2-0 and acting like they were already in the final.

They also might have rested half their team at Anfield with a cup final 6 days later. Surely we want wolves looking to end their season on a high?To be fair, I didn't care too much. Perhaps. As long as it's sustainable and not going to leave them hundreds of millions in debt and out of business in a few years. They wouldn't be the first to have this happenAh come on man. Whats happening at Wolves is a good thing.
Nothing. He can celebrate how he wants. My original point was if you celebrate in an elaborate way or have some sort of pre-planned celebration and your team then goes onto lose; it looks a bit daft.Luchador masks are a big part of Mexican culture, what's wrong with him bringing a little bit of his culture out there?
Defo, they’ve been exciting to watch and I find them likeable.Ah come on man. Whats happening at Wolves is a good thing.
Huh? All their focus should now be on the league and finishing as high as possible for them, securing that potential EL spot is key.Its bad for us because now Wolves dont have much to play for the remaining season means Arsenal will have an easy game against them next week
