I don't think it necessarily means that they are planning for Sancho's departure. Bruun Larson and Guerriero are unremarkable players.
Yeah, didn’t mean to indicate that i think Sancho is leaving. That is all up in the ai as far as i’m concerned.while i’d love for us to get a talented english right winger, i think Sancho himself would do smart by staying another year at Dortmund.

Is insigne a good player? I've not seen much of him to judge.
Very good player, I think he has been one of the best wide players for 5/6 years and always found it strange nobody ever mentioned him as a potential target until the last year or two. Only thing he lacks is blistering pace
Think he is at that age and with the cost where its not as good of an option as it would have been before. I wanted us to sign him the year we signed Depay

Didn't he just sign a new contract?
He did but it increased buy out clause from €100m to €120m only. Knowing Ed, it makes perfect sense we would bid now after he signed

There’s going to be too much to cover in one transfer window if de Gea leaves. I’ve never seen a squad with so many potential outs so even if DDG leaves I reckon you’ll stick to Romero/Henderson for the season.

De Gea is doing my head in with his contract. Maybe it’s time he moves on, it’s clearly affecting his performances.

What’s funny is that I remember when Atleti signed Oblak from Benfica. There was a lot of drama about them seemingly thinking they had been sold a dud and wanting to void the transfer and return him I’m sure!

It’s seem to be either him or Wan-Bissaka. I think Meunier is better going forward (no shit) and Wan-Bissaka the long term investment.

Would be happy with this. Competetition for Dalot and hopefully we dont have to watch Ashley as much.

The only worry I would have is that we need one full back that's consistently getting forward. Shaw doesn't do it enough, but he's good defensively. If we got AWB, I fear we'd have very little width.

Shaw has improved his attacking display since Crystal palace game but Martial, Mata, Lingard, Rashford, Lukaku or Pogba need to be in the right position when he makes cutback passes or low crosses. I think he will offer more because he has more confidence to do it more than before.

Signing a proper winger could be a big step in rectifying that, our current batch of wingers are either inside forwards or number 10s.

Yeah, sorry, I wasn't clear - I was responding to the bit in AWB being a long term investment. I'm all for Meunier!

Agreed, but would be good to have both options.

Why? If he doesn't leave great, if he does then his fee alone covers his replacement. Doesn't impact our business otherwise.

The ego on this guy, he can bounce, puffed out after 25 minutes.
The article is quite different to the headline and the journalist's input.

Lukaku, asked whether he would stay at the club, said: “I don’t know, I am not here to entertain rumours. I am still under contract.”.

It's based on assumption that players do favour playing in the CL than not and him not being favoured by Ole.

If the rumours are true and Conte wants him if/when he pitches up at Inter, they’re not going to pay us anything like what we paid. I’d imagine they’ll be looking for a loan to buy, which is hardly going to be to our liking.

I thought Conte was expected at Roma?

Maybe the reason for Shaw not going forward that much is that he is the best defender in our team and till we could fix the other positions he is more needed back? 'cause we can clearly see that he can do it.
