Spurs giving Poch what Fulham gave their manager last summer. Nice.

Poch : So, we spent nothing last summer, can't wait to find out how much I've got this year!
Levy : Oh, Mauricio, you did a great job again, you're in for a treat!! I'm gonna give you a warchest! How's that sound, kid?
Poch : Really?! Wow, yes! Finally, I can get 3-4 top class players to push for a major trophy now! How much?
Levy : I'm pleased to tell you we've managed to guarantee you a hundred WHOLE million!
Poch : ...........a.....hundred?
Levy : You got it! Knock 'em dead, kid!
Yeah, no he won't. Not unless he sells beforehand.

#Pjanic a Canal +: "My goal for the next few years is to win the Champions. I'm in a huge club, which I respect a lot. Future? Everything is possible in football, but we need everyone to agree. I'm thinking about finishing the season. I need to go on vacation and then we'll see. "
I'd say that we should be all over this, but I don't think we'll be winning the CL anytime soon.

Fantastic player, though, and exactly what we need, in my opinion.

I think Dybala can be good for us if we play him in RW with free roam off the striker, he scored a lot of goal for Juve, he scored more goal than Salah in Serie A with 22 goals season in 2017/18, 19 in 2015/16 and 11 goals, 8 assist in 2016/17 with less 7 games . Allegri pushed him to 4-4-2 on the wing and played more in midfield than in attacking when Ronaldo joined.

Everyone crying out for a right winger finally, then we basically sign a number 10 to play there again. It’s something we’d probably do.

Let's assume we are in for Dybala. I don't see a problem because signing him doesn't mean we won't sign a RW. If Pogba leaves, we could use Dybala in a 4-2-3-1.

I know we have been scarred by previous managers playing strikers and #10s as wingers, but it doesn't mean it will happen everytime. Dybala is a quality player.

Dybala would be fantastic if Pogba leaves, as it would give us the opportunity to play Dybala behind the striker, with two holding midfielders behind him. Rashford need better working conditions if he is going to be our main striker, and I think a partnership of him and Dybala would be deadly.

No point getting a hard-on over a Mickey Mouse source.

Juve is playing us and we are going to take the bait hook line and sinker. We will make a 100m bid for Dybala and they will pretend that they don't want to sell him. Next thing you know, Dybala is a United player and Juve takes a fraction of thta money and buys Chiesa from Fiorentina knowing he's twice the player Dybala is...

Chiesa is a very good player, but arent we under playing Dybala a little there? 18 months ago he was one of the most exciting talents around, in comes Ronaldo and he doesnt fits in to the plans.
Would be a fantastic signing quality wise, as would Chiesa for them, good deal for both parties....though not sure how we would use Dybala

Probably as a false 9 type of striker.

———Rashford——Dybala——Sancho———

Would be such an improvement on what we have currently.

No I agree. Juve do this all the time. Dybala is a very good player, but not worth crazy money. Also, another South American? I'd be quite happy if we never bought a South American player again. Romero has worked, but that's 1/10.

I'd count Rafael as a success, but your point stands. With our wretched history of signings of South Americans, especially Argentines, we should avoid signing them for roles that we can't afford another failed transfer.

Gabriel Heinze did well for us before he tried to swim down the sewer to Scousepool.

Dybala is part Polish so maybe we'd fare better with him.

Put it this way....Juve is willing to sell Dybala and replace him with Chiesa. For a club with Champions League ambitions you have to ask yourself why? The answer is simple...because Dybala isn't as good as the hype he created a couple of years ago. If he was then he would have gotten better, not declined...
