mate I've been watching vs beek since he was 15; frenkie since he was 17/18. cool that you watch their big games and have some half-baked stats but technically there's a vast gap between them, similarly athletically.
People have their favourites. We have it here, so why won't you? People have different reasons they like a player. Some could like a player because of his flashy display. However in all of the matches I have watched Ajax play, I haven't been impressed by Frenkie one bit as a no 6, compared to Van de Beek when he played as one and the stat back it up

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

you can always tell people no jack shit when they say "when you look at the stats on such-and-such website, it tells us that player X is better than player Y"?a

your posts on Onana have been good to read too.

So, City release Kompany, rumoures they’re looking to offload Otamendi. Mangala has been on loan, but injured pretty much all season and hardly lookslike a Pep style CB. Wouldn’t be surprised to see those two leave over the summer aswell. That leaves Stones and Laporte, their starting CB pairing this year and only youngsters behind them. That taken into consideration i doubt they offload both Otamendi and Mangala, but they’d surely be in the market for another CB, right?

In an interview with Canal+, Galtier said: “Nicolas Pepe will leave.
“Life’s like that, football’s like that today.
“He is a player of the highest level who will have a big decision to make on the choice of his next club.
“There will be a battle between the great European teams.
“I hope that he will take good amount of time to think about it, do his research.
“Like he did when he came here and when he decided to stay here [last summer], find the right project.”

Bayern bound I reckon but I'd love to see him come to us. Definitely a player who hugs the touchline and gets you out of your seat. Perfect age too.

I'm sure Bayern ITKs have said plenty of times they are not interested in Pepe

He’s been linked with BM for a lot longer than we think. It goes back to the Jose days

Some of the reactions of Stoke fans on this tweet is amazing
Glad that Fletch is screwing them over.

Getting to grips with the player recruitment role. Rule one: Screw your rivals, get what you want!

Griezmann - Barça case: - The squad did not ask for it. There is no veto. But after the consultation, he won in NO. - It does not excite the club. The offer and past flirtation led to raise it. - Nothing decided. But practically discarded

Reminds me of when Allardyce tipped SAF on Phil Jones.
Jones had all the qualities to be world’s best. Its his fault he didn’t put serious efforts to be fit enough and not get injured again and again.

Whenever he had a continuous run, he performed well.

I would piss myself laughing if he ended up having to stay at Atleti. Surely he couldn't have announced he's leaving without having a deal with someone?

Could he end up at Real?
With all these stories though I reckon he is joining Barca, and all this is just noise until his release clause drops in July

Apparently the club forced him to announce as they found out he was making another documentary.

You can't decide not to be injured... You certainly can't work through it either if it's muscular or ligament damage. That's asking too much.

We messed him around by using him as a utility player. It stunted his career development.

I'm starting to fear we'll end up blowing half our budget on him.
‘Fear?’. That Manchester United might sign Antoine Griezmann? Are you are City or Liverpool fan? He’s a top, top player.

Strengthen your muscles, body
Work hard in training and gym
Simple science

He himself is to blame for majority of his injuries

Van de Beek should definitely be available. He's actually different from Bruno Fernandes. While Van de Beek has been mostly deployed as a second striker this season, probably because of his goal scoring output and terrific movement and also, to accommodate Frenkie and Schone in the midfield, he's at his best in the central midfield, either as a no 6 or RCM whereas Bruno Fernandes looks like a no 10. Both could play together however I don't really fancy a no 10.

I can see us panicking then offering him a million quid a week or something.

C’mon Ed let’s see some of this, “We can do things in the transfer market others only dream of” nonsense!

Felix, Sancho, KK / De Ligt, Cancelo, Fernandes, a DM.
