Sadly our players are more likely to congratulate Liverpool players than have this be motivator for them to do better. Football seems more commercial driven today than it was about actual rivalries even up to a decade or two ago.

What a rubbish final. Very anti-climactic and I missed the first ten minutes which had the only real drama. Anyway, congratulations to Liverpool, fully deserved it after their efforts this season. Can't wait for next season.

In terms of atmosphere, attitude and overal ability on the pitch, that CL final will be remembered as the worst in living memory. Which makes the winners, Liverpool, the worst in history of the competition.
