Don't know who that is but Chelsea getting good money for nobodies again.
Well, they know how to do it. He was on loan at Torino this season and they probably liked him enough to pay €10m. Meanwhile we stick to the likes of Darmian, paying wages for nothing.

The only positive about Maguire I suppose is that he’s not Smalling or Jones. That’s something, I guess.

Not in my opinion. He refused to bow down to silly agent fees because it would set a precedent that we're there to get fleeced. He was ahead of the game in minimizing social media use for players around the club because he knew what a big distraction it would cause.

Take Raiola - does Pep like to deal with him? Are Barcelona reportedly succumbing to agent fees? Do you see Klopp + Liverpool's efficient structure, or Bayern's structure bowing down to the same?

Definately for another thread but whatever Fergie did, he did it because he knew where the market was turning and you don't want to get into a vicious circle.
Spot on, nothing to do with not adapting even though he mellowed a lot in his later years and did make a few poor decisions to be fair. He was still as sharp as a tack though, fantastic man manager and that is one of the reasons he made the kind of signings he did and didnt bow down to agents, as he was all about the man management and good of the club not "philosophies" and self gain etc.

Totally different people, but I see a lot of those traits in Klopp in a totally different way

Think a lot of people are seriously under estimating the ability of Bissaka to become a superb full back, thats including going forward. Pay whatever it costs in my opinion, like a Walker, VVD, Ferdinand etc etc , couple of years time I think people will be saying what a great deal it was

I need to look at numbers, but pretty sure Liverpool paid a ton of agent fees over last couple years.

(totally agree on your SAF points, man I miss him)

There's no point in speculating because there isn't enough evidence. Its like the time when people on here claimed that lukaku can improve his first touch when we were signing him.

We should not be paying 50-60m for a fullback who isn't good at both going forwards and defending. Play Darmian instead if you want a defensive full back.

Having said all this I can only hope that our scouting team have done their homework and if we do end up signing him, it proves a great deal.

I just wish I had any faith our scouting team actually does its homework.

Pogba ready to take a pay cut
 Give it a week or two of them failing to get the price lowered and that will become him asking for too much money despite really, really, really, really wanting to join Real.

I hope Ed's read it and is thinking "Come at me, bro" ready to absolutely fleece them before selling.
