Fixtures come out tomorrow, there's been a leak apparently and we have Brighton at home for our first game.

We are in the EL so there will be a lot of sunday games. Are we going to have all our games on Sunday again? Seemed like every week last season.
And City get all theirs on Sunday and Monday? Whilst Liverpool get their wins in early on Saturday.
Eh? It's a great start seeing as we can move above quite a few rivals, handing us an extra boost of cofidence which we sorely need. Teams are not always 100% prepared so early in the season and can lose points for not being in great shape from the off.Not sure leaked fixtures are ever correct but if that is correct a lot of our top 6 competition get tough away games out of the way early which is annoying
That works both waysEh? It's a great start seeing as we can move above quite a few rivals, handing us an extra boost of cofidence which we sorely need. Teams are not always 100% prepared so early in the season and can lose points for not being in great shape from the off.
Yeah, but the chance is greater that the top6 teams lose points on the first day of the season due to fitness concerns than in October. Everyone expects Liverpool and City to beat Burnley and Wolves mid-season, but when all players are rusty it could make for bigger upsets. That works both ways
well, we are in the Europa and playing Thursdays, so lots of Sundays aheadAre we going to have all our games on Sunday again? Seemed like every week last season.

not sure they've even been "drawn" yet so not sure how leakedFixtures come out tomorrow, there's been a leak apparently and we have Brighton at home for our first game.
How do you work that out? If anything it's the exact opposite, go and play Palace away half way through the season when they've potentially already taken points off of some of the big boys gives them the added confidence that they can do it again. Better to get those games out of the way early before any confidence or momentum has been builtYeah, but the chance is greater that the top6 teams lose points on the first day of the season due to fitness concerns than in October. Creativity when rusty is harder than parking the bus.
I don't believe the TV companies will have agreed games yet, so calling it bollox. Whenever the games are released I'm sure they always show them as 3pm Sat kickoffs.
Bloody underwhelming Super Sunday if you're a neutral
Pep already licking his lips, and the season has not even started ffsTweet

Pretty sure you've made that up, they're over 30 miles away from each other so that doesn't seem like enough to warrant excessive congestion / police requirement. They have even played mid-week games on the same evening. You were probably thinking Portsmouth which would be more likely, but even that is not far off 20 miles distance.I'm sure Southampton and Bournemouth don't play at home on the same weekend - Or have I made that up?
Plenty of time to sleep the Saturday night hangover off.Pretty annoying that Sky have changed their Sunday kick-off times to 14:00 and 16:30.
Top 6 sides don't play each other in the first or last game of the season.Last years leaked 'fixtures' had us playing Chelsea away when it was actually Everton!
Man City played Arsenal on the opening weekend last season.Top 6 sides don't play each other in the first or last game of the season.
of course they do, Arsenal played City and Chelsea first couple of games last seasonTop 6 sides don't play each other in the first or last game of the season.
We literally played Arsenal and won 3-4 a few seasons agoTop 6 sides don't play each other in the first or last game of the season.
We didn't finish in the top 6 the previous season. We literally played Arsenal and won 3-4 a few seasons ago
Completely forgot about that. They might have disgarded those rules/requests from TV broadcasters after the information leaked to the press last summer.Man City played Arsenal on the opening weekend last season.
