I hope we reduce our wages on offer now and promote Henderson and/or Pereira as first team options. Dave has been dicking us around for quite a few years now. Don't get me wrong. Incredibly grateful for his service over the last few years. Saved our bacon on many countless occasions. But I think he needs to buck up or feck off. No more being mugged off by players. NOBODY is bigger than the club.
I think it may have to do with teams like Barca and Real Madrid being perceived as having such strong starting 11's full of the best players in the world that a player being a back up option to these elite players at such a club must mean they must also have a lot of quality about them because the standards at these clubs is extremely high, where as if United try to sell off Darmian and Rojo, buying clubs will think they ain't worth much when they can't get games in our defence where the standards of quality in our first choice right back (Young) and central defenders aside from Lindelof is not highly valued.
He was a really good prospect. What happened with him?
