Hands up, everyone that's surprised..!
I just pray that our board don't cave in and take a player exchange deal, but knowing how Woody idolises Gareth Bale, I fear it's a cert.

Would there ever be a chance of clubs refusing to work with this agent? SAF and Pep have both gone on record to say what a shyster he is.

As for Pogba, 120-130 million would be acceptable and a profit. He had a decent (half of a) season last year and he's a great player on his day but his time here has been a failure overall, especially when you consider the price that was paid for him.

Pogba is the best midfielder in the world. Pogba, Zidane and Real Madrid seems like the perfect match.

So they want Pogba and we need a CH . Give us Varane for Pogba or feck off . United need to show Madrid they can't come poach unless they pay top dollar

Why the hell do you want money unless your name is Glazier ? We won't spend the Pogba money we will just be left with a hole in our team .
I want money as long as its reinvested. I can't believe United would not buy at least 2 midfielders with the money. Pogba has barely achieved anything in a United shirt and while he's been there has been no better than Fellaini

How exactly is he toxic? This comment make absolutely no sense. The mourinho era also doesn't count because the whole club was toxic. Some of you need to understand that players need to do whats best for them and leaving for madrid to pogba is whats best for him. However him leaving right now isn't best for us unless someone pays what we are asking. If he can understand that everything will be fine. He has always been professional and I don't expect that to change.
So much for a professional that he's going full public to force us to sell him for a lower price.

How much should he go on for his fans to turn on him?

I can't wait to see him in a Madrid shirt. The Madrid fans will be soon on his back when he flops. Look at Bale whose done OK at Madrid, won everything and yet the Madrid fans treat him like shit.

Who would have thought it that Jose would be right and he is a virus? I would desperately like to be rid this window but we are not in a position of strength. I don't believe even with 150m+ we will be able to spend that on top notch players this summer with our team in such a state and no CL - both of which can be put at Pogbas door.

He will posture and posture until the window shuts. After that he'll have little choice but to buckle down or he will be benched.

If we allow him to strong arm us others will too.

I really hope we stock to our guns and get the price we want. Let the player and his vermin agent bleat in the press all they want. He can go at our price.

The first time he trots around casually they’ll boo him to death. Terrible fit for him

The one thing that truly pisses me off is the deception. Ole stated that he had talked to Paul at the end of the season and he had been assured that Paul was happy and committed to helping United rebuild next season, now he wants out and is using social media and his agent to get what he wants. I would have been fine with Paul saying he wanted a move back in May but instead he misled the team and then reversed his decision two months into the off-season which puts us in an awkward position. Honesty costs nothing but he just doesn't seem to be capable of talking straight. I am not a Pogba hater but my opinion of him has nosedived today.

Next step will be handing in a transfer request. But Pogba and Raiola should have learned by now that there is no way Pogba would leave for less than £150m. So they should either get Madrid to pay up, or cut this drama because nothing will come out of it.
People keep mentioning 150m. If we go out to purchase Saul niguez he will command a few of 150 m because of its buyout clause. Pogba is 180m -200 m in this market now very late in the window.

Too bad. Not surprising at all, but still disappointing. He’s not gone yet mind, and I for one hope Ed takes it personally and demands £200m up front. We really need to send a clear message, we’ll sell, but only for the right price. See who bites (my guess would be noone).

Having said that, would Raiola come out with this without any indication from an interested club(s)?

Just a question, do you think utd will ever attract a word class player like Pogba under this current setting and to say since he has been here he is no better than Fellaini , well I don't even think that deserves a response. let take a look at the top clubs around Europe, from their recruitment this season, to think we are going to do much this coming season, well we shall see.

More running. Less skill and "showboating".
Yes, because running will split the defences like his lofted through ball to Rashford against Spurs for example.

We are a joke as we'll be left with three CMs total, Matic, McT and Fred. Let's all let that sink in for a moment! I've thought for a while we need three more CMs before Pogba goes, now we'll need four.

Get the money we want, and if not and he intends to sulk next season, let him rot on the bench. I bet he misses how it feeled to be benched by McTominay.

Time to teach these twats we aren't a push over. Just because he's acting like a cnut and going full public about it he will get what he wants. Pay the price or rot on the bench.

If Real want him the price should be £300m, they owe us one for Beckham and Ronaldo!

That would be the fecking worst! If he's going, let him go, so long as we get decent money. None of their cast offs!

I would also say screw Bale and Isco and demand Vinicius and Casemiero (and Ceballos too for an FM-like straight swap)

I've been holding out on commenting on this because I honestly thought he would stay. His agents words are enough for me to say feck off to him.
Seriously? It’s been obvious for months he’s been wanting to leave.

By stop forcing the idea of building a team around one inconsistent player and build a proper unit.

Ask for £150m and set a deadline of the end of July for Madrid to pay up. Communicate this clearly to all parties, and make sure we have a replacement lined up and waiting in the case that Pogba leaves. Negotiate a deal with said player's club beforehand to agree a fee (if it's Saul it's his release clause). If Madrid don't pay up by the deadline, then Pogba and his agent should accept that he has to stay. If Madrid pay, we sort out the deal for his replacement swiftly.

Building a team rather than focusing on that inconsistent clown.
