I don't know same as you Don't. Just saying what team talk says OK.
When even posting ‘news’ think about it logically. Do you think we’re in a position to let a midfielder go right now? Not happening.

The source is Fotomac in Turkey and they reported on Fred to Galatasaray on the 15th. Doubt there's anything in it.

Read the story on team talk. If you don't believe OK. I'm not saying I believe but there could be something in it, we just don't know.
How hard was this? - https://www.teamtalk.com/news/man-utd-close-to-offloading-52m-flop-but-future-return-on-the-cards

It's BS anyway as Ole has confirmed that Fred is in his plans next season: https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1154290/Man-Utd-transfer-news-Fred-Ole-Gunnar-Solskjaer

Besides this is completely the wrong thread and should be in the Fred thread. This thread is for transfer news that has been tweeted

Woodward is reluctant to deal with Sporting because we're United and they demand more than Fernandes is worth. Yet we seem to be willing to pay more than 80 million for Maguire (if you are to believe the latest gossip)... Yeah, that makes sense
Pot calling the kettle...wasn't it reported that Utd put the price of Pogba up by £30m last week! Just seen it on some site that Utd due to announce the signing of a midfielder, but it's a 16 year old from Lyon....that makes sense, what about this season...woeful dealing in the market as usual.

I don’t mind Fred. He shown glimpses of what he’s capable of. I’m hoping it just took a season to settle. I’d definitely give him one more season.

The club are yet to replace Fellaini and Herrera in the squad, do you really believe they will let Fred go?

The problem for Fred is he gets played with Pogba all the time and it never works, it's either one or the other in my opinion as they have the same role. Pogba's a much better player at the moment so a loan for Fred this season makes sense. Then if Pogba leaves next summer, he'd be good cover.

Absolutely and we aren't really in the position to be selling midfielders.

I still fancy him to come good in this new front foot high press system.

What happens if Pogba stays this season but picks up a nasty injury?

Lose Griezmann, Rodri and Godin, sign Felix and Hermoso and Llorente. Dont know Llorente but the first two are great signings I think even though big boots to fill. Hermoso especially a steal at that price.

25 million euros, much better value than Maguire
Under statement, surprised the big two and other big clubs in Europe were not in for him. Interestign to see how he develops, what I have seen of him he looks absolutely superb with the ball for a centre back, almost Koemanesque potentially.

I like Maguire and fee not really relevant....but DeLigt and Hermoso have moved for a combined fee probably within £10m of what we will probably end up paying for Maguire, thats crazy

Anyone know why De Gea and Fred aren't playing? Lukakus clearly not playing to avoid injury which scuppers a move so not bothered about that.

First choice 11 for the season...

De Gea
AWB Maguire Lindelof Shaw
Pogba McTominay
Fernandes
James Rashford Martial
Tuanzebe, Bailly or Rojo if Maguire isn't signed. Had enough of Jonah and Mike.

For me its Shaws last chance to prove he can get and stay in shape and sustain some kind of top level performances. If not we should be in the market next summer to get the next big thing and move Shaw on.

The big one for me is Fernandes. He's the key on us being able to play 4231 or 433 successfully. Fred isn't going to be consistant enough in our midfield although he is hard-working.

Martial is the conundrum..... all the talent in the world but some of the kids like James and Gomes are playing with more intensity. He's at a crossroad and I'm his biggest fan. It's time for Martial and Shaw to put up or shut up. They're experienced players now and if they're not capable of giving everything in their performances we should make space for hungry players like AWB and James.
Shaw?

I thought he was one of our better performers last season. I would be putting a lot of other people on ‘last chance’ well before him.
