Would happily take that, even with the buyback clause. Our pre-season so far shows that DCL still has massive question marks over his finishing and we desperately need goals.
It's quite easy to understand really. He's said he would like to leave but is being respectful of the club in not acting out since the club invested in him and he signed a contract there. If he hands in a transfer request there are often quite high penalties with no guarantee of a move.
Its fairly similar to the Pogba situation for us, at least since he returned from holiday.
