Can't decide if I'm glad we're not being held to ransom or annoyed because I want the transfer to conclude as soon as possible, I am starting to think this might not happen, we've had plenty of time to change our stance and we don't seem to be budging.
I can't see us paying £90M for him. I think it's a waiting game now, we're going to see if Leicester lower their valuation as deadline day approaches and we're probably banking on Maguire to push for the move too. £80M is the most I see us going.

I hate this. I'm on the verge of getting my hopes up again, just to be let down by us signing fecking no one in the coming week. Close the damned window already, our minds need to rest.

The funny thing about the Dybala deal is that it’s so good, if we complete it I wouldn’t actually mind paying £90m for Maguire. It’s almost like we got an absolute bargain on one hand so paying a bit over the odds on the other evens it out.

it's crazy how much they love to talk, talk, talk at Bayern. Hoeneß, Rummenigge, Kovac, Salihamidzic ... maybe stop commenting on everybody and everything in public for a change? It's comical how stupid they make themselves look all the time.

You think mou. Will go to a club that wont spend 200m per year.
May be the only option available to him for a while if nothing doing at Real or Juve. The lure of Kane and Son may be enough to tempt him. They really don't need much tweaking to be fair and I can't see him sitting things out for another 18 months?

It's official, Liverpool's youngster joins Oxford United (League 1) on loan. I think it's a good move. He didn't get many minutes when he played in the Championship. He'll get well stuck in.

Pochettino is smart. he very clearly has a say on transfers even though he is in title head coach but he got away with the "sorry no speak English" routine for his whole Southampton tenure even though it was well known he spoke it perfectly well and this "i'm just the coach" is just a clever way of not having to ad nauseam entertain the media and their inane transfer questions on repeat non-stop.

A reminder for those who have forgotten: Sol Campbell is the Macclesfield Town manager.

He'll want an easy job next, either Juve, PSG or Bayern.

He was willing to join Inter ffs, why would he not want to join Juventus?
I don't know but with his touch, you never know what reply he might send his agent. His autocorrect must need a processor beyond your typical iphone.

I still can't believe Juventus actually want Lukaku, it would be one of the more shocking transfers in memory.

If you asked Sarri which of Dybala or Lukaku he would want to sign of both were available on a free i'm 100% certain he would want Dybala and the same answer if you asked Ronaldo who he'd rather play alongside surely.

Is this them putting pressure on Inter for Icardi like I suggested a couple of days ago or is it possibly them possibly seeing a threat from Inter if Conte is allowed out together the side and squad he wants and this is just an opportunity to throw a spanner in the works?

Why, up to last season, he was a very coveted player.

Think Lukaku will be a good foil for Cristiano, whereas Dybala can't work with him. Not rocket science.

Conte can sign Neymar and Messi and they will still won't beat Juve in Serie A, don't think the Torinesi are losing sleep over Intermerda yet.

Lukaku will be good foil to Cristiano in much the same way that tin foil is good foil to a microwave.
