If the dybala -lukalu deal goes through, inter have been shafted big time and I love that. They acted like c**ts during perisic deal and then by offering £54m for lukaku. Feck them. Although I don't think we will see a deal between those two clubs.

- Dybala will have final say on the swop as he must agree to go to United
- Even though Dybala wanted to stay at Juve or wanted PSG, he feels unwanted now and willing to listen to United's offer with no offer from PSG
- Lukaku was still hoping for Inter but nothing came of it
- Juve believe they can do the swop for Dybala = Lukaku +15m cash

I haven't seen Dybala much but I understand he's an am rather than an out and out striker. AM is also the position that Mata & Sanchez occupy (or should occupy).
Hopefully this doesn't scupper Gomes's chances with us or the possibility of him signing a new contract.

Thanks mate. I'll add that to my post to stop anymore confusion.

Wycombe have made 8 signings this summer so should cope with outbound transfers, but that'd be a question better answered by @Sandikan or @Lay.
@Pavl3n

Presume it was the outgoing McCarthy you were asking about?
He's a quality league 1 performer, but we've snapped up a guy called Grimmer who was a regular in Coventry's promotion 2 years ago, so he looks a good replacement there, plus we'll have got money, and brought Fred in, who is another quality league 1 performer.

We've made a few other quality hungry potential type signings, so I have high hopes of getting higher than 17th this year.

I always wonder how the details of this pan out.

Does Woodward ring them and say...are you sure 80m won't do?
Ok, I'll leave it 3 days.

A promising albeit out of form Argentinian attacker being nudged towards us by his parent club when deep down he'd prefer to go to Paris, eh? What could possibly go wrong.
Just hope his house isn't burgled :nervous:

I guess we hope the cnuts would budge on their ridiculous asking price. Leicester need to know their place in the football pyramid, some of their fans do as well based on the comments I’ve seen this week. I hope we overpay to land him just to shove it in their face.

Can't decide if I'm glad we're not being held to ransom or annoyed because I want the transfer to conclude as soon as possible, I am starting to think this might not happen, we've had plenty of time to change our stance and we don't seem to be budging.

That's a really bad translation, not helped by the fact that Pedulla waxes lyrical about everything. Key points:
  • Many thought initially that Juve was just messing Inter about when expressing interest in Lukaku
  • Turns out the interest was real all along
  • United started taking it seriously when Juve put Dybala in the negotiation (and they ask for 15million Euros to do the swap; so Dybala = Lukaku + 15)
  • United discussing terms with Dybala's agent who's due in Turin on Thursday
  • Dybala wanted to fight for his place in the squad under Sarri and was thought to have preferred PSG, but the French club hasn't shown significant interest
  • And Inter? feck them, they can get Rebic for 40 million Euros.

Regarding Di Maria/Dybala, at first I was really hesitant about Dybala as all I saw was shades of Di Maria, however after some thought I do think there are more differences here than similarities in this case.

Dybala wants to stay at Juve, but Juve don't want him - same as Di Maria, however;

Dybala doesn't appear to have his heart set on moving to a different club though, as Di Maria did with PSG. He was all set to move there except they couldn't balance the books with FFP that season, they likely told him they would attempt to buy him the following summer, which they did in the end. This isn't the case with Dybala, he isn't being courted by anyone.

Dybala knows he can stay at Juve if he wants to, Juve seem to be accepting his wishes, unlike the turnips at Real - though it will mean he will not play very much, so he might very well decide it is better to be playing at United every week and perhaps being apart of something special than warming the Juve bench (and all the while banking significantly more each week at united)

As for the South American part, is it possible that now with compatriots Romero and Rojo here, plus some Spanish speakers and his good mate Paul that he might find it easier to settle in. I remember hearing that De Gea is friends with Aguero, so maybe they can all have some dinner dates together at Wings to help settle our new favourite Argentine.

And the final difference is that Dybala doesn't seem like a complete fanny!

Can't we just tell Leicester to collectively eat a cock at this point? This is getting ridiculous.
