How do you sell players that are on the wages that our players get? They definitely wont leave for lower wages.
I think the players that he was on about are not the ones that people on here want out. Young and Mata have been given new contracts for example. They are going no where this window.
Yeah it's about giving minutes and practice to the players who are most likely to play here this season but we expect people to come in or return from injury so no use in getting worked up over a friendly line up.

Not really true I don't think - the results of these games don't matter, but what they show us about the manager's plans and how well we look like being able to execute them is significant.

Maguire, Pogba, Lingard and possibly one of Greenwood or James will start against Chelsea in their place, I'm my opinion.
Replace Mata and Andreas for Fernandes and Dybala and we will be laughing.
In my case, said after last season that i am personally sick and tired of 80% of that squad. After everything we saw in last couple of years, i just dont wanna watch certain players on the pitch in United shirt anymore, not a single minute, friendly or not. Dunno about others who moan.
You are going to be sick and tired all season then, because that lineup is pretty close to our strongest XI bar Pogba and one or two new signings
Shows how desperate we are for better options in midfield, Pogba is only one we have who’d get regular game time at any other top six side. Sure starting lineup against Chelsea will be a lot stronger.
Sounds good on paper. Pogba (or Pogba replacement ) in for Matic and Maguire in for Rojo and we look to have potential.
