Thrilled. Big fan of Maguire and AWB.

Our back four is actually good now, but not the best in the league. It’s pretty much on par with Leicester’s last season.

Shaw < Chillwell
Maguire = Maguire
Lindelöf = Evans
AWB > Pereira
Brilliant, even when we do make a signing somebody finds a creative new way to pour piss all over it.

AWB - Lindelof - McQuire - Shaw

Best back 4 in the league?
I’d say it is but a couple of injuries and it looks relegation standard. Hopefully lindalof, maguire and axel can stay fit so we don’t see Jones, smalling or Rojo. Likewise for our fullbacks don’t want to see young or Darmian playing at all.

Now we have a back four, for the first time since Vida and Rio left. Things gonna change. Kudos to all who supported this signing and were realistic. Ole and Ed working as a team, great window.

It's good, but Liverpool's of TAA - Van Dijk - Gomez - Robertson is clearly on a different level.
There is a weird overrating of Gomes and Gomez on cafe. Has something to do with the name?

Don't rate TAA as a defender either. Van Dijk and Robertson are the League's best though, and therefore there certainly is an argument to be made. Maybe United's new signings can take the other two positions?

Why on earth wasn't he signed last season if Woodward thought he was good enough? Crazy management.
Because Jose Mourinho and Ed Woodward were very much at odds with each other. Where Jose can't stop talking crap about his bosses, Ole takes any grievances behind closed doors, to avoid creating a sour environment. Couple that with Jose already having spent nearly £300 million pounds on signings that were not good enough according to himself, and thus ends Ed's desire to spend any more money on Jose's team.

Never saw one of the old clubs wishing the player on the transfer.

Nah, not really. It was just in regards to the question posed earlier, whether ours is the best backline in the league (should’ve quoted the message). I’m very happy we signed Maguire and Wan Bissaka, both are amongst the best players in their position in this league.

I'd say Liverpool have the best back line in the league, keeper included. Van Dijk alone is a colossus, and TAA and Robertson are brilliant going forward.

This will improve our backline better. I hope DDG is content and confident with this defensive line in front of him now.

Welcome to our club Harry!
Obviously the price is just ridiculous,but that’s the world that we live in now...He’s a top defender who”ll definitely give us more solidity at the back.Now we need to get another couple of signings over the line before Thursday...

How about Ed tends to trust his managers? Ed is not a football person, he understands that. Once trust diminishes he puts financing their wishes on hold.

We are a dynasty club, like it or not. We had only two successful managers in our history: Busby and SAF. Our model is proven by the time, though it has its flaws. I prefer us to stick to our identity. I love United because of its traditions.

I worked as CEO at public companies, and I never let managers criticize me in public. More to it, I managed to hire people who were smart enough to understand importance of teamwork.

Ed is too kind, he let JM to start another season even after his bitter assault on the club. Mourinho couldn’t build a team while enjoying full power, and then went to criticize us for not having a structure. Moron.

Yes! Even if it just to push Jones and/or smalling down the pecking order
No, it’s to push Jones and Smalling to up their game.

Young (cpt) - Smalling - Jones - Darmian

Haha, yeah right.

But MackGuwuyere is a step in the right direction.
It’s MacGyver.

Would like to see him made captain straight away, but we'll overlook leadership skills in favour of longevity.
Actually, I’m guessing an argument in favour of making Young captain, is because it’s too early for MacGyver, but next season will be perfect. And it would leave a bad taste giving it to De Gea or Lindelöf and taking it back next summer.

I have only just realised Darmian is still here.
