We badly need more creativity in the side. Any of Fernandes, Dybala, Eriksen or Coutinho could provide that. They are all a lot better than Lingard/Mata.

Dybala deal would explain united aeemingly not caring about lukaku staying away. Maybe they know its close to him no longer being our problem...
If the guy saying we're signing Demeble is reliable, it's more likely we're using the money we're getting from Inter for Lukaku. I think any deal with Juventus is dead in the water.

OK I'm off until Thursday midnight. Will go online then and see what's what. Good luck to all those made of sterner stuff

Man United have offered for Moussa Dembele.

We are in for a huge couple of days...

In...
Fernandes
Eriksen
Dybala
Dembele
Neymar
Umtiti
Savic
Alderweireld
Neres

Out..
Lukaku

Get the planes lined up, runways cleared, NHS doctors lined up on mass, medicals galore. Medicals for everyone.

Saudi oil money coming in early! Or late in the window...however you wish to look at it

We could sign Fernandes, Dybala, Eriksen, Longstaff, Mandzukic and Dembele in the next 48 hours and there would still be people on here moaning that we missed out on Adrian to Liverpool.

All attacking midfielders and not CMs, looks like we will bring in someone

Don't think you'll find anyone who disagrees with that.

Eriksen is brilliant I'd love him here

Just imagine Eriksen taking corners and free kicks and Rashford, Jones and Shaw all nowhere near them.

God I’d kill for someone in our team who can deliver a quality set piece.

Eriksen to Maguire could bring a lot of goals!

Anyone looking at the Savic rumors getting legs again? His IG post was kond of ambiguous

A reminder to everyone that while the Premier League and Championship have transfer deadline days of Aug 8, League 1 and 2 have deadline days of September 02.

Still no experienced CDM ;)

I bet Rashy would still hog free kicks.

If you freeze him out after demanding too high a transfer fee, the net result will simply be that you will sell him next year for a cut price fee, having paid his wages in the meantime and his replacement arriving that much later.

It's time to bite the bullet and just see how much you can get from inter before saying yes and good riddance.
He's got the Euros next year. He can't afford to not play this season.

Earlier today, we covered a story from Record which said Manchester United are getting close to the amount demanded by Sporting for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes.
Now reading the rest of the Portuguese newspapers, we’ve realised they all agree on something: the Red Devils have been in talks with agent Jorge Mendes in the past 24 hours.
Starting with Record, they say the agent has been in Manchester to close the deal of João Cancelo, who’s joining Manchester City. Then he will focus on Bruno.
Newspaper A Bola says Mendes has been in Manchester both to talk about João Cancelo and Bruno Fernandes. He and the Sporting midfielder’s agent Miguel Pinho want to close the transfer ‘as soon as possible’.
It’s said Tottenham are offering €65m for the player, with €50m being paid now and another €15m in bonuses, but Sporting don’t really like that. Meanwhile, Manchester United offer between €75m and €80m, also with bonuses involved.
The Red Devils are not sending an official bid until they have a green light from Sporting saying they will accept the numbers.
And newspaper Correio da Manhã brings some very similar information. They also say Jorge Mendes has been meeting Manchester United yesterday, as he tries to conclude the transfer ‘as soon as possible’.
