When was the last time we loaned someone out that made it here? Lingard I guess right? But apart from him?
Beckham the big example before that. Cleverley and Perreira have been part of the first team squad after coming back from loan but I wouldn't say either made it here.

I'm not talking about just Bruno Fernandes. I said him or players like him or of that sort.
Ole would obviously love adding top class talent regardless of nationality. He has for example stated that if Lukaku is sold he needs replacing.

These matters is simply over his head. He ain’t making the decisions. It’s effectively Woodward that don’t want to spend for whatever reason.

Pretty tame transfer window .. all over Europe.

Who are the big, exciting signings this summer? Hazard and Griezmann.. that's about it.

We havent signed anyone, but at the same time, I am not upset at missing out on anyone either. No one interesting has moved.

It would be absolutely HILARIOUS if Gomes goes on loan for one main reason.

It would prove beyond all doubt that, behind closed doors, he hasn't been given assurances of first team chacnes this season. Which would basically destroy this blinkered view that lots of Topreds have about Ole's 'philosophy' and would also suggest Ole hasn't been truthful with the fans, as well.

Would be a real eye-opener. Not for me, mind. I always expected Mata, Jlingz, Youngy and Static all season long. The youth angle is just to appease the fans and convince us there is some kind of progressive plan in place, rather than the owners just hoping a manager can scrape top 4.
I'm not sure he'll get that many minutes this season. I'll be surprised if he's even on the bench vs Chelsea.

Yes, because we’re so stocked in midfield and attack...
I can get behind this actually. Garner hasn't been involved during pre-season so is unlikely to play and Gomes could benefit a lot from a season of first team football. He'd have a proper chance to prove he's our 10 for the future. He's probably got Martial and James ahead of him at LW and Lingard, Mata and Sanchez at 10 this season. Plus, if he leaves on loan now surely he's signed a new deal :D
This would break EPL loan rules. The source is bollocks.

Still almost a month to go in Europe though isn’t there?

This spurs business is honestly making me feel a bit sick in the stomach, its really hammering home how far we have fallen. It makes it feel real that we are in that 4th place struggle now....

Pray tell resident naysayers and doom mongers, is it actually as tedious being perpetually negative and critical (about something you can do feck all about anyway), as it it reading about it alllllllll the fecking time on here?

I find it funny when people who have been banging a certain drum to try and embarrass other fans get their comeuppance. Topreds are in for a really nasty spoonful of something bad this season.

If I wasn't certain of this outcome myself, I would be upset by it (youth talk being mostly nonsense).
