That Neymar transfer worked out pretty well for everyone then originally didnt it? (Agents aside)
Who gave him the fat wages to begin with? We bought him off Torino ffs, not Barca or PSG. He was probably making 300k a year in Italy. When we signed for us, we probably 10x or 20x'd his salary. So stupid. At times i wonder why it's so fecking difficult to grasp the issues at hand. The problem isn't that we're useless at selling players, the problem is that the players we want to get rid of are on fat wages compared to what they'd fetch in other countries. Swapping jobs for less money isn't a great scenario for anyone
Likely next summer a few others would leave and a few others would come inI don't understand Juve's plan here. Just yesterday Sarri came out and said he might have to leave Dybala out of the champions league squad because they don't have enough players to satisfy the homegrown rule.
If Neymar to Madrid and Eriksen to Juve happen, it would pretty much seal Pogba's place at United.Tweet

Imagine tapping up Darmian!!That would be illegal tapping up then and I look forward to their transfer ban
Why didn't United just cancel his contract or let him go on loan with commitment to buy?
Makes more sense than Perisic (alone), I guess.Tweet

Darmian would have to agree to that and it would cost him money. Why didn't United just cancel his contract or let him go on loan with commitment to buy?
Why would we agree to that instead of cashing in?*without permission. He can negotiate whenever with the club's permission.
Guess so. Suppose he just has another 12 months holiday before going to Milan.Darmian would have to agree to that and it would cost him money.
This is just ridiculous and unfair to the other clubs. All these key players are running their contracts down so that they can join Juventus. How are they paying the salaries of all these players?Tweet

That one is in Levy. His wage policy will backfire from time to time. This is just ridiculous and unfair to the other clubs. All these key players are running their contracts down so that they can join Juventus. How are they paying the salaries of all these players?
We’d have to pay him offer. Unless he agrees to a mutual termination which is unlikely.give him a free now
We can be given permission to discuss with a player without having agreed a fee with the club. Something similar happened when RVP left us.All this "He can't officially talk to them until January" stuff is bollocks and you all know it.. All clubs and players do it including ours.
I bet Maguires wages were sorted weeks ago despite no fee agreed.. I also bet we have even spoken to Sancho and his reps about potential earnings here and many other potential signings will be spoke to off the cuff, it is how it goes.
It wasn't that long ago that British players couldn't get a game abroad. Now they seem to be all the rage, which is great to see. Wonder how long the trend will continue and how long it will take for British managers to follow suit.Tweet

It's September 2nd.When is the deadline for premier league squad registrations?
Should highlight some players likely to be leaving if it's before European deadline.
Cheers, seems all the windows will be closed by then anyway. It's September 2nd.
that's not close to what he will be earning next yearTweet

Ed extended his contract so he couldn't sign for Juve for free this summer. Why didn't United just cancel his contract or let him go on loan with commitment to buy?
See above - he would have been a free agent by now. We extended.Darmian would have to agree to that and it would cost him money.
Til next summer. We activated the additional year. Pennywise pound foolish.Christ how much long is Darmian contracted to us?
