I agreed with you man, this Summer you'd be extremely naive to think he'd chose United over Real. Summer 2012 though, who knows... I certainly don't.

For what it's worth, Alonso left Pool cause Benitez tried to flog him and replace him with Gareth Barry, we all know that. Gerrard they wanted on two occasions but didn't get him.

And something I do know for certain is the idea he'd defo chose Madrid is as daft as the idea that De Ligt would defo chose Barca this Summer.

I can't really argue with much of that tbf, my initial comment was probably overblown. I still think Real are generally the most attractive club out there to play for (and I really don't know where this propaganda thing is coming from, I hate Real) but I'll concede that's probably not the case with English players in some, if not many, cases.

PP should not play as a part of a midfield duo. Either as a CAM or attacking LCM together with two midfielders with the ability on the ball and can actually play out of defense.

If we can get Sancho and two midfielders that are good on the ball(Not Rice and Longstaff) then we should be able to compete with Tottenham for the third spot and be safe for a top 4 finish.

It's perfectly feasible for Sancho to go for more than £100m. City wouldn't spend that money, particularly on a player they lost for pennies. We can and will spent that on the right player.

Was January when it heated up a bit and continued when we were on our hot run. Our end of season was a disaster so he was certainly within his rights to maybe see what happened with us this season.

But the point was that he preferred joining us over the rest of the English clubs. I think we'll sign him for a sum in excess of a £100m next summer. We also have a good relationship with Watzke and Zorc so that should help.

I'd rather sacrifice Mata, Lingard, Periera etc when it comes to that. Sancho is the perfect RW for us. And Greenwood is our biggest young talent. There should be more than enough room for both if we're willing to slim the squad (which we already have a little with Lukaku gone).

They're two different types of players. Greenwood can't do what Sancho can do, and Sancho likely won't be able to do what Greenwood can do. I see Greenwood as our striker of the future and Sancho our RW of the future. They're both the best talents of their age group. We would do well to have both of them.

Depends on the season Real will have but i could see them going for Mane/Salah next season. Klopp could use the money to make some changes and bringing in Sancho would surely spice things up.

Chelsea will also be in the race, they're linked with Zaha but Sancho would be the much smarter investment. Overall it would have been better to buy someone good this season and still try to bring in Sancho next.

With CL football United are in a very good position, but we must keep hold of Pogba, IMO.
