Not sure what is all the fuss about Longstaff. He's truly average each time I see him.

This is going to end up really bad for Newcastle.

Bet they get a result against us next week.

Hmm, not looking forward to going to the Newcastle forums and asking them questions. Might just wuss out and skip it like I did with West Ham.

Remember all the laughter on here during the summer when people said Leicester will be better and finish higher up the table than us

Bruce has to be gone by Christmas...or by the end of the weekend the way it's going.

Newcastle are an absolute shambles. Surely, we should be beating these next weekend? :nervous:

I was thinking chilwell isn't better than Shaw

But chilwell does the overlap and gets to byline which is improvement on Shaw
That's how bad standards might be

None of you find it a bit embarrassing that its been 3 years since they won the league and somehow we've only stagnated since then? Even without lukaku and sanchez we shouldn't be six points behind them. Only difficult game should have been Westham due to injuries and we also beat Leicester prior to that yet we are 6 behind. Embarrassing if they finish ahead of us come May. It shouldn't be surprising at all.
It is embarrassing. It's not surprising though is it.

Less expectation = less pressure. United are expected to win games that Leicester aren't, there's also a whole different level of fanbase between United and Leicester.
No one is talking about pressure. We had CR7 at the age of 19 who was very frustrating in his initial years. We didnt expect him to win us matches during that time. We need the right combination of age always else you are screwed the moment you have a bad match.

Maybe it's harsh cos he's at Newcastle
But he doesn't look better than Scott mct
He's English, so his actual skill level X10 is what you get told.
I'm not sure if he's better than McT to be honest. Seems like the better passer but every other aspect of his game is... well average.

Good thing we didn't shell out 50m on him in the Summer.

Yeah but at the time that was taken as an attack on Ole, now they've realised that us being shit is actually just the squad being shit and thus Ole good.

Not the most difficult thing to do and still Shaw doesn't do it often
Often? I'm thinking at all. Last time I remember him doing it was to set up Mata before his big injury years ago

Other times might have skipped my mind but I seriously don't associate Shaw with that

Fair play to the Newcastle fans, still jumping about and singing despite the horror show on the pitch.

Why on earth does Ashley not flog the club, surely it’s a drain on his time/resources!

Something very basic and so easy to correct via coaching. We make the easiest stuff appear to be impossible

It's true. This Leicester team are great at punching above their weight and upsetting the odds.

Stick them all in the United shirt and raise the expectations and the vast majority would shrink. Football isn't as black and white as many on here like to make out.

We beat them only two weeks ago and couldn’t even score against us in our so called shambles period. Of course people are gonna laugh at that

Rodgers is comfortably a better manager than Ole. Not that I want him here but he'd be a massive improvement.

They also look a far better side than us with an identity and a style of play.

Well we're only 7 games in and we beat them the other day, but Liecester were certainly one of the teams to watch this season.

How good is chilwell. Not paying 100% attention but whenever I look up he seems to be making something happen
