Nah there's huge issues at Spurs pal. Undeniable. This just doesn't happen the easily. It was nearly 8 moments ago.
Of course there are. But the game really wasn't a 7-2. Bayern just scored on every shot they took

What exactly has caused this loss in motivation to play for him though? To the casual watcher like me it seems sudden although for such a change surely it's more deep rooted..

It seems toxic but after last season you should should all be buzzing.
So many reasons. I'll try to get in to them a bit more maybe tomorrow or something in the Poch thread, but right now I'm going to drown my sorrows and get off, because being on a rival fans forum when you lost 7-2 isn't fun .

But Pochettino has to go. There can be no doubt now, none at all.

Rumour has it there's a John Terry/Wayne Bridge situation afoot
Who slept with whose wife in this situation? And why would it cause the whole team to collapse in the space of 20 minutes? (Not actually watched the match but I’m going off the comments in the thread)

I still agree with the people saying this is a freak result. Sure Spurs have issues but a lot of people with knee jerk reactions here.

When we handed the Arse an 8-2 thumping, people were saying thats it for Wenger and the decline etc etc. They still finished top 4 consistently after that.

Levy messed up by refusing to sell the players who wanted to leave for a reasonable price, and will probably end up leaving for free/vastly reduced fees. He didn't act in the interests of the squad then and don't think he will now.
Did exactly the same with the Berbatov deal he seems to get lauded for. Haggled over a few extra pound and left Spurs with Frasier Campbell up front. I’ve never got the adoration some seem to have for him. He got lucky with Pochettino and may need to get lucky again soon.

7 goals away from home to last seasons beaten finalists. What an entertaining game that was, taken us the last 8 games to score 7 goals so as a neutral I really enjoyed that.

Fair enough. Don't blame you. Tag me tomorrow though as I'm curious to hear what's happened! Take it easy.

The signs were there in the City match, all over the place defensively and no control in the match. It's been like that all season and the players don't look motivated to me. Looks like they aren't playing for the manager and he isn't helping with some frankly insane tactical decisions. It's upsetting but I now want Poch out even though I really like and respect him for all he has done but it's time to go it really is.
Talk about ingratitude. The modern fan eh?

After one rotten turn in form it's time for your best manager in eons to go.

But this is why fans should have no influence on club affairs.

I now wholeheartedly believe Vertonghen has been going around shagging half his teammates missuses

And also Poch's missus. And Levy's. In fact he's probably gone on a bender with John Terry through half the london based players wags

Mate we have been absolutely shocking for about a year now. This is not a knee jerk reaction, it's been coming for months. Would you accept it?

Don't be offended but you Bayern fans are demanding bunch, aren't you? He won double last year, doing excellent this year and still you don't like him?
You know we're a one-team league and the double is our minimum expectation (not even half joking after the last 7 seasons). That we have a tighter league right now is much down to us being worse than under Jupp and Pep. If you watch us every week it's also much harder to say Kovac is doing excellent and much easier to criticize a lack of clear ideas and tactical variability.

So apparently Bayern's xG was 1.27? And they scored 7. Ridicilously clinical today.

Seven goals conceded. At home. Seven.

And Levy not selling a couple of players doesn't cause a result like this. A squad which has completely lost all confidence or faith in a manager does.
Bayern were ruthless and extremely clinical. That's an experienced Spurs squad today and they rolled over. Yes you can blame Poch, but those experienced players have to be responsible and stand up for themselves. Cannot hide behind Poch. It's poor to place this all on Poch. He's a really good manager, but the quality he's been able to work with at Spurs has been criminally underrated. Really solid, competitive team that at optimal level is still a couple big players short of being a real league threat.

Spurs have been towing the line in terms of performances related to results. Their CL Final run 100% papered over their deficiencies.

You're a great poster but you're wrong here, imo.

This has been a gradual decline which has now spiralled leading up to this game.

It's not a case of gratitude or ingratitude. Our fanbase will always be hugely thankful to Pochettino for what he's achieved, but fans who watch us week in, week out can see that the players have lost faith in the project and that the manager is simply not correcting any of the mistakes he's making.

Yup clowns. Pochettino time at Spurs has ended as I expected. Similar to Klopp last season.
At least he stuck with Dortmund and salvaged something though, i.e a cup final and EL qualification despite the poor campaign in his final season. I can see Poch walking away like a coward and leaving Spurs up shit creek.
