Cringe is when people are afraid to voice their opinions out of some class superiority complex, they’ve had it way way too comfy over the last six years, boo them off the park as far as I’m concerned, they’ve all had it coming, the manager too, the CEO, Lingard for sure had it coming.
Stop accepting mediocrity.
Crack on. Buy yourself a ticket and go boo the players if you want. Everyone around you will think you are a tit.

It has a lot of fans like you with their heads in their arses. You are a puppet. Try having a point of view instead of this top red BS. It's tiring.
Oh dear.
I have attended games when we have booed the players and Pogba was among them, match-going fans are not above that. Sometimes deserved, sometimes not.
Rarely anything more than a few pockets of fans, and never sustained.
Numerous times, Fellaini too, even Giggs was booed ffs.
You’re not very invested in this club and you’re telling others who to support?
Buy a prawn sandwich man and leave that horrid logic out.
Who the hell are you to tell people who support?
Oh shut up.

Guys a fecking moron, can't believe you engaged him for that long.

Message is simple, if you want to boo a player go to the game and boo him yourself.
You are the only moron in this if the mods do their job and ban you for your contribution in this conversation.

Perhaps you as well for your aggressive and insulting tone? You've hardly covered yourself in glory. Perhaps a step back might be the way forward.

It would be fascinating to know what he makes of his effort at the club.

Like on the one hand you don't want anyone getting too depressed over it because at the end of the day it's only football.

But on the other hand he's not earning the position he's in and most would say he's never earned it. His footballing career is like the upside down to the club itself.

Surely when he's promoting his brand or busting out his signature "goal celebration" for another sponsor he can't be that oblivious to how ludicrous he is.

I might be aggressive and cheeky, but I neither offended you personally or him neither. Attack the post and not the poster. So instead of defending him be the better man and shut up.

The guy could at least tag me if he plans of directing personal insults, that’s the most pathetic thing.

That is true but a huge chunk at the stadium are tourists that see one game a year or even less and they usually don't utter a sound. That said us booing our players is very uncommon and done by only a few as you say.

Why would you call someone a moron like that? Do you think this is good for the forum?

I dont boo mistakes. Shit happens. I dont boo bad performances. Forms happens

I boo lingard for having the guts to tell the fans how elite he is with the 0.002 percent shits, playing like shit while getting busy with a clothing line. I'm booing him.for being a coward not showing more as as first team member and a youth academy product.

If that makes me a bad fan than so be it. Players like lingard isnt the reason why i supported united anyway.

I grew up watching united of saf, i grew up watching our never say die attitude and the cockiness aura of manchester united. I dont tremble when we faced the mighty juventus, nor bayern. I have faith that even players like wes brown and john oshea are held to a united standard.

Cheering this bunch is celebrating mediocrity. It means that you're actually ok with what they serve week in week out.

I have felt bad when seeing some players in the starting line up before. But Lingard is bringing it to another level for me, I have to fight myself from not turning the game off.

First player I would feel fine booing. I really, really want him out of this club!

Sounds like Ole is giving him a new contract unfortunately. Hope it's not true.
He will only have himself to blame if he gets the boot then, can't blame the club for lack of signings when your wasting money on the like of Lingard.

I feel bad for him at times. He tries hard but simply does not have the talent to do what we want him to do. Not his fault, the blame lays with the coaches who consistently pick him.

I just cannot fathom how you can be a #10 and not present for the ball, or that the manager can see how little desire this man has to take the game on and think he should be the creative force of the team. I'm sorry but he is a burden on the team and it's like having 1 less player on the field.

Eventually though he will get that #feckthehaterz goal and he will go back to thinking he is hot shit, then the usual suspects will be back bleating about how he silently dominates or that he had good form that one season.

He has become indefensible. Literally no one can come up with any sort of logical defense for him anymore. Not that his defenders have spouted much logic over the years.

Forget people defending him. How can Ole cont to pick him? Just how? I am dead serious when I say we would be better off with 10 men cuz then we would defend with more concentration.

That "you have to understand football to rate Lingard." has been my favorite comment in his defense so far. By now i think most people are convinced that he isnt good enough though.

I used to think he could have his use as a squad player but i am not so sure about it anymore. Not sure at all.

Im actually looking forward for him to score, interesting to see who will post here to claim he is a good player. Also curious about Lingard his celebration... he sure had time to perfect it

I was watching BT Sport and they were advertising the EL Thursday , who appears representing us only Lingard. On top of the Coca Cola ad as well.

Priorities.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time

To be fair Ole has been dropping him to the bench recently. Mata came in and replaced him, and unfortunately didn't perform any better.

With our current injury crisis and Ole wanting to play 4231, we're really having to play one or the other. My hope is that once the injuries clear up we'll be able to drop both of them, and the fact that they are both getting dropped after a few games makes me think Ole would like to do that but currently can't.

I like him as a player to be honest and I can see why managers pick him and play him so often. Think he’s one of those players that fellow players and managers understand and appreciate more than fans. However, to play the 10 or creative role for Man united and have such shocking stars in terms of goals and assists is just unacceptable. Games just pass him by now. He’s a great squad player but should not be starting week in/ week out.

This is how he was rated by the English media

Jesse Lingard - 6
Still working his way back after illness and a little off the pace at times

How about we say it as it is. Invisible contributes nothing for 12 months. The bias towards Lingard and Rashford is appaling in the UK. Instead you have Neville going on about Fred how he is not performing. This is a guy who rarely gets any game time, yet we have Lingard and Rashford start all the time and do feck all. Ole out, and take these two with him
There’s a section of the media which is ABU, so I can understand why they go on saying Lingard is just off the pace or getting back from illness. Gary Neville is just plain daft, and in my view is one of the main people influencing Ole with the Brexit strategy. Of course, he will never be held accountable for it.

It is absolute madness that this guy regularly starts for Manchester fecking United, a club that rivals the likes of Real and Barca in prestige and wealth.

The prestige is getting squandered to preserve the wealth for the owners. It’s now only a matter of time for revenues to decline, maybe that will catch the owners attention.

You do know we've spent over £850mill on transfer fees alone since Fergie retired, and we have the 4th highest wage bill in football ? While our squad is pretty dire.

If that's preserving the wealth, then surely you need someone to handle your finances

Most of you are missing the point, Lingard is just vastly overrated. He isn’t a playmaker, he isn’t a winger, he is just a runner who adds energy to the team. A squad player at best but not a starter in big games. It pains me to see the names rojo, matic, mata, lingard ,pereira, in the starting xi. Therein lies our problem, bang average players = bang average team.

He was left out earlier in the season, and came back in instead of Mata, who has not set the world alight in his matches, chances are that when everyone is fit he may not get in at all.

Hard to argue with anything he said about us to be fair. Even the pros have no idea how or why Lingard is so valued here, which says it all really.

Perhaps I should not have said to preserve the wealth, but to preserve the dividend payments to the owners. Regardless of the football needs of the club, they won’t spend when and where we need to spend if it will cut into their own payments.

Again, we've spent £850 mill on transfer fees, then there's the free transfers (all of them expensive) and us having the 4th highest wages in football, since Fergie retired. It's a mental fee and we have very little to show for it. I'd say the problem lies there, not that we haven't spent £950mill, or £1000mill for that matter.

I reached the level that I dont care if he plays or not anymore. He is everything wrong with this club, he represents mediocrity, interest in social media more than football and non existent talent. If I am the manager, I would send him to the reserve until his contract runs out. What a fecking waste of time, money and a spot in the first team.
