In all the misery and despair of this season, all the embarrassing losses and jeers from rivals fans, at least one thing can give me some sliver of comfort when I sleep at night ..

I was right about Nicolas Pepe.
What did you say about him

Nah, he’s a definite talent. Will come good in time.

Emery really is a fraud, how isnt he under more pressure? btw why is Sheffield so negative all of a sudden, didnt they learn from us vs Pool?

Incredible how we can't even deal with Sheffield United's pressing. We're making them look like prime Barcelona

Arsenal are a mess away from home aren't they, have been for couple a seasons or so.. can't remember the last time they beat top 6 side in the league or won convincingly to away to a mid table side.

This has been said about nearly every high profile flop since the dawn of time.
True. But he’s shown plenty of positive signs.

Always showing for the ball, positive dribbling, excellent turn of pace and movement. Finishing, final ball and set pieces have been dire, but we’ve all seen plenty of players who improve their finishing after a poor initial period. By all accounts he was clinical last season.

On the other hand, I’m worried that Zidane May have been right about Ceballos. I find his style of play very annoying.

He seems to have poor technique, but maybe he can sort it out

Most arsenal fans I know want him out. But he’ll be given the season. I’m desperate for top four and a proper manager next year.

Plenty on here was praising Arsenal earlier in the season. Idk why because they look dreadful.

That's crazy. I make tons of jokes about him going missing but surely he needs to be on the bench at least.

I can't imagine the board are too pleased about having £300K a week not playing.
Likely some of that is bonuses for being in the squad/starting etc

Have Arsenal developed a style of play under Emery? Doesn't feel like it.

True, in fairness. Best example of that is probably Suarez, who in his first season at Liverpool struggled badly with finishing but the rest of his game was on point, before improving big time in that regard. But I dunno, I'm seeing that he's got the turn of pace and sometimes pulls off a nice bit of trickery, but for me some of the fundamentals aren't there. He'll do something great but then feck up an easy pass or take a heavy touch. It's obvious he has some great traits but I think he's also got some big flaws which might hold him back in a league where that little less time on the ball and that little bit less space to work in can have a real impact.

Ceballos is a weird one. I can definitely see the talent with him, but his style (like you say) pisses me off as well. I'm all for players enjoying themselves on the pitch but he plays every match like it's a game at the park, when sometimes you have to be more disciplined and know when to keep it more simple in midfield.

Sheff Utd are the only premier league side to not concede in the last 15 minutes.

Pepe has been best player on the pitch. And he was got for 72m in installments which translates to around 66m at one go.
He does look a decent player to be fair - maybe not £72m though.

I’m seriously impressed with Henderson though.

Pepe doesn't have any football intelligence or technical capability on current showing. He has pace and thats about it. I really dont understand why Arsenal fans saying hes having good game. Hes having shit game.
even Emery agrees and decided to sub him.

Exactly. I don’t know if it’s cause he’s on loan, but it’s such a showy style of play. Never takes a touch and plays the quick pass when it’s the right thing to do.

Dean Henderson looks so comfortable and has done all season (bare the Liverpool mistake). I fear we may lose him if De Gea will be here for another 5 years or so.
