Drew 1-1 and 2-2 in my first games with Chelsea and Wolves, then won 3-1 and 2-1 against Palace & Southampton, so I'm doing better than Ole. Playing on legendary and it feels harder than previous years. Can't defend to save my life

Kinda finish with fifa for a while now till more icon swaps come in. Got Ozil and Zaha from the objectives. Bought koulibaly and Chiellini for my serie A team and rashford to partner zaha. Ive 950k coins and l'll wait till January to buy some bigger players. Least now I've time to relax and play clubs.

Anyone else bored of having a good team? Need tournaments back with limits so I can play with teams I actually like. Big fan of Martinez + Giovinco in real life but impossible to put them in a competitive WL squad or Rivals unless I drop down a couple divisions.
Anyone know when it is that prices usually crash loads, is it black Friday? Also, is it the top players that historically crash or the lower players?
Black Friday and then xmas. They drop but not to very low levels, some hold their value even through it all
The lower rated players crash a big amount, the top players a small amount (though tbf someone like Pogba is 400k now I think, and he'll probably go down to like 340k at some point over black friday before bouncing up). The high rated players also rebound back up while the lower rated guys will stay low (like Rashford and Martial for example).
Sitting with close to 600k, most I've had at one time ove last few years, and i can't justify spending it yet, just been doing SBC and building up coins

Im sure i have terrible button delay but I don’t see how a game can be riddled with so many basic errors. Defending a counter the furthest man back was the right back, so i covered the centre with him whilst dropping back. My centre back took over and chased the winger running to the space to cross. MEANWHILE MY RIGHT BACK Entering the most crucial bit of the defensive phase has been selected by the computer to no longer defend the gap where he is aiming to cross, but to casually stroll back up the pitch, COMPLETELY turning his back on play and not interested in, you know, defending.

I have the computer refusing to let me defend an attack through the middle with my centre back, until its too late and they’ve ran past me, instead it chooses the full backs.
Players lagging when you command a pass and instead of turning to face who want to pass to, they just carry on running and back heel a wayward pass, despite me purposefully delaying the pass for a split second; first commanding the turn (which never comes).

RE: The meta of running down the wing and passing inside.
I think the best thing is to make sure you switch between your CDM and full back to cover spaces. For example... If he is running down the right wing, I usually grab my CDM and get over to that side. Apply some pressure with full back again but ultimately I will be wanting my CDM to block that inside pass. If I stand in the lane it will force him elsewhere
Sounds simple but make it obvious that you wont let him do that pass and they will be forced into other attacking methods
Can’t decide on who to buy out of Aubameyang, De Bruyne or Salah. They’d replace Rashford, Firmino, or IF Mahrez.

What I want to know is, if I'm playing someone online and said game is cumbersome/slow because of the servers, is my opponent experiencing the same? Granted sometimes they may be a better player but whilst I can't string 5 passes together, they're tika taking like feck around me.
Played 2 games last night about an hour apart and the difference in game speed was outrageous. This day and age is it too much to ask for consistent gameplay? More so with the amount of money pumped into the product.

I just sold my first team as i refuse to play now until they fix this mess of a game. Ive had people take me out in the box, like literally slide tackle me into oblivion miles away from the ball, and nothing happened the game just played on. When opposition can tiki taka passes through my legs as im challenging yet when i power up a pass it still goes 5/10 yards short, when i successfully challenge a striker but he still barges it perfectly into his path for a goal over and over, when my attackers don’t turn on the ball quickly enough they instead just walk on the spot and back heel a blind pass, when players lag at that all Important you’re about to shoot and instead the extra bit allows the defence to throw a foot in. Through balls are delayed and then get fired 90 degrees to the winger instead of the striker making the run for a potential 1v1. Im done with this bollocks!

Just got Pique as well and seems great. Also really cheap compared to other SBCs especially for the level of card.
Yeah like I said his stats are top tier icon level. People will be put off by his pace but his defending ability more than makes up for it. Highly recommend anyone to do it.
I'm really tempted by that Pique, but after the last Fifa I told myself I wouldn't waste coins on untradeable SBC cards this year.
Started 9-0 Weekend League. Servers terrible for my final 2 games. Thankfully got early leads in every game and everyone has quit most games, think I’ve finished 1 game so far. Gonna try and play some more later tonight when hopefully servers are quiet.
