The ‘pissing about’ bit is conjecture, likely shaped by a preconception you have of the player. Are are you saying that Pogba has ‘gone rogue’ now? You don’t know where/what he should be doing at any given time during his whole two month recovery. Rooney was sent to Miami to recover more than once, but different profile, not the same story. The theory you have concocted will likely contribute to your view that Pogba hasn’t got the right attitude and wants out etc, and 6 months later, you probably don’t even know why you may hold a feeling of contempt anymore. This is how false truths grow. You did by saying it’s the level of a primary school level argument, my argument is that he should still be in that gym not pissing around in miami.
And apologies if my initial post seemed rude. Let’s just take this for what it is, he’s out injured, we’ve all watched football for long enough to be familiar with this aspect of the game, it is what it is, we’ll see what happens when he gets back. My personal issue is the public general perception of the player over the past few years is made up largely of such theory, mixed with a little bit of fact - but nobody remembers why anymore. Repetition of pundits lazily and stereotypically floating this ‘bad attitude’ theory coupled with a man running off him in a game here, and a comment made there and it all spirals. Men run off of other players too, even those with an opposite narrative. It all becomes self-fulfilling with PP, and creates a toxic disconnect between our fans and our own player. I don’t think we should let that happen lightly.
