People saying he's a great manager or was a great manager doesn't mean there's a **** of any sort...I really wish I was. The love he gets shown is ridiculous considering how badly he performed for our club.

It says more about Mourinho melting down and being mentally unstable the last few years, and not getting a job at a bigger club and having to settle for Spurs. They would not get Mourinho at his prime, only the wreck of a man that he is now.Yea, same here. I already notice a change in tactics between Mourinho and Poch. I want to see how Mourinho controls the psychological factor post honeymoon period and when players need continued motivation.
Spurs getting a manager like Mourinho before Poch was unthinkable. Which speaks of the incredible revolution and transformation Poch has done
Well they will need to buy more than a few as half of their team is out of contract in the summer. He has everything spurs were lacking, a winning mentality. They suit each other perfectly, tottenham is a few players away from challenging.
This thread will be something else every time Jose wins/lose. Caf's finest.Haha. For what?
Mourinho made it clear that he wanted to stay in the Premier League. He loves living in London. It is was pretty obvious the only choices were Arsenal and Tottenham; he wasn't going to go back to Chelsea again. It says more about Mourinho melting down and being mentally unstable the last few years, and not getting a job at a bigger club and having to settle for Spurs. Do you really believe if one of the top teams in the other major leagues (Real, Inter, Bayern or PSG) came for him he would have declined their offer? Seriously??Mourinho made it clear that he wanted to stay in the Premier League. He loves living in London. Sickening. Really. The Mourinho **** is sickening on this site.
Mourinho really is like a romantic relationship that turns sour, every single time. Its odd I didn't like Jose but now he is ours he is quite likable.
Agree, Mourinho did incredibly well at not just one but several clubs. Like him or not he has achieved things some managers can only dream of. Sadly I think Spurs will fit him like a glove, Mourinho does well at clubs that don't demand as much as the absolute top clubs. Imagine him winning them a European and donestic cup, he'll reach legendary status instantly, unlike being ridiculed like he was on here. No I don't like Mourinho and I was happy he left but he did win us some trophies and get us a 2nd place in the league, not too shabby looking at us now.People saying he's a great manager or was a great manager doesn't mean there's a **** of any sort...
We should judge himI have a question to on my mind: if Spurs fail to finish this season in the top 4, would it be considered as a failure for Mourinho (considering most think the squad is good enough to finish thereabouts) or do we only start to judge his influence on the team from next season?
After 3 seasons and 6 transfer windows. ObviouslyI have a question on my mind: if Spurs fail to finish this season in the top 4, would it be considered as a failure for Mourinho (considering most think the squad is good enough to finish thereabouts) or do we only start to judge his influence on the team from next season?
Understandable as Poch has been a bit of a father figure for him. Possibly his only positive father figure he has ever had given his upbringing.Anyone see Dele talking post game? Sounds kind of depressed Poch had gone and talked of it being a difficult week. Sounded like someone had passed away.
Odd he didn't speak positively about the future. Just sounded off.
Top 4 is a but of an ask given how bad the start to our season was. Hope we can do it but will take some doing.I have a question on my mind: if Spurs fail to finish this season in the top 4, would it be considered as a failure for Mourinho (considering most think the squad is good enough to finish thereabouts) or do we only start to judge his influence on the team from next season?
He won 2 trophies for us. His first season was like in Fergie era. Trophies, big signings, good football...I really wish I was. The love he gets shown is ridiculous considering how badly he performed for our club.
Not every context is the same and not every debate must be drawn to Ole. My question was absolutely independent of the discussion about Ole and I don’t think you have answered me sincerely, sounds more like a sarcastic response. Actually, I don’t think anyone has even suggested Ole needs three seasons and six transfer windows to fight for top 4.We should judge him After 3 seasons and 6 transfer windows. Obviously
Spurs need a revamp of the defence, I think the attack and midfield is actually good. Alderweireld, Rose and Vertonghen passed it, and they also want to leave the club anyway, final payday, increased wages, etc. Aurier never had it, and wants a move as well. His priority should be a CB and a RB.Not every context is the same and not every debate must be drawn to Ole. People seem to believe the squad at Spurs is good enough to finish in the top 4, so I’d like to know if Mourinho would be considered to have failed if they fail to achieve top 4 this season.
Amazing manager Pochettino is. He was even turning it around and just one victory has them six already. It was an overreaction by Levy, but I m glad Levy pull the trigger. Now it is up to Manchester United to act. If Mourinho finish above Ole, I see Ole getting the sack.Anyone see Dele talking post game? Sounds kind of depressed Poch had gone and talked of it being a difficult week. Sounded like someone had passed away.

Ok, my bad. Straight answer. Yes. Top 4 is a must and fail for me if he miss itNot every context is the same and not every debate must be drawn to Ole. Exactly way more important things in life than picking up on one word in a post. The love he gets is sickening, annoying, delusional, etc etc. The point remains!Sickening. Really.
You take like far too seriously. There are many things in life that are sickening.
But.
Move on...
He was a great manager, he’s no longer a great manager therefore it’s annoying to see people still fawn over the current iteration.People saying he's a great manager or was a great manager doesn't mean there's a **** of any sort...
He did do an awful job at Utd! He signed utter garbage for hundreds of millions of pounds and won second rate shite. I’ll admit I enjoyed his first season the most by a mile, but it was all down hill from there despite the second place finish. He won 2 trophies for us. His first season was like in Fergie era. Trophies, big signings, good football...
And saying that world class manager is world class manager has nothing with "**** love" or something like that.
Bigger **** are people like you who hate him so much and keep talking that he is rubbish manager and who did awful job in United.
Yes, it will be a failure in my book as it's already proven that they have a squad which can finish in the top-four. In fact, during Poch's tenure, they have collected just about the same points as Liverpool and Chelsea (368 points in 5 seasons compared to L'pool's 370 and Chelsea's 372). There are no question marks here, they possess the quality to qualify for the CL through the league.I have a question on my mind: if Spurs fail to finish this season in the top 4, would it be considered as a failure for Mourinho (considering most think the squad is good enough to finish thereabouts) or do we only start to judge his influence on the team from next season?
relax. He was a great manager, he’s no longer a great manager therefore it’s annoying to see people still fawn over the current iteration.
He is still one of the best in business. Like it or notHe was a great manager, he’s no longer a great manager therefore it’s annoying to see people still fawn over the current iteration.
That's exactly what we said. He'll do alright for a bit then it'll go to shit I reckon, maybe even win something before that. We already know these players can lose motivation quickly now.He has everything spurs were lacking, a winning mentality. They suit each other perfectly, tottenham is a few players away from challenging.
You guys will win this easy.Knew this game would be a banana skin. Every time we play Palace, never easy.
